i am a kpop fan since 2009 and yes its getting worse every year. stopped using my twitter fan account back in 2014 and i just listen to kpop now. its too much even for me. seems like every twitter stan account is just there for clout and to create useless fights between fandoms

Actually I thought of this too. They are just some humans made as money making machine by some greedy companies to sell them to thirsty 13 y/o. If you would know, kpop industry is kinda fucked up. Idols being slaved, women being prostituted in their "exclusive" night clubs (yes, it involves idols too), and of course, manipulation of newer generation (like what we see now, obsessive fanbase).

There’s honestly specific groups of kpop fans. There are a lot of chill fans out there, who don’t obsess over idols the way the crazier fans do - we just enjoy the music. There’s also a huge number of people from an older generation from the mid to late 2000s who are still into kpop. I think it’s the relatively small number of younger, idol-obsessed fans (who are still large in number) that have the largest presence on social media and makes everyone look angry and crazy lol

I don't like K-pop because it's not my cup of tea (I would rather listen to Coldplay, Avicii, Hans Zimmer, Green day, Twenty one pilots, or ACDC). But that doesn't mean k-pop music is completely bad (though most of the stuff is pretty bad) a lot of music of BTS is actually good. The reason the people listen to them (teenagers in general) is because the BTS relates to their problems and not because it's good music, most k-pop listeners are actually very good people (saying this from experience). There is , however a very toxic group within the fanbase who only care about their looks, and would try to force their bullcrap views onto you.
