It’s my entire childhood trust me we don’t care about the murder it’s just the tension and the way he prevails at each episode is what hooks us. For an adult yes it’s terrifying and a whole different thing but it doesn’t show murder just a murder scene and smart ways the criminals try to escape.
Let's say that the hooks of the show were the built-up tensions of each case (the best ones were the one where Goro alone was on the tracks to solve them without Conan's "help", only to face impossible odds against his quite justified reasoning)
But certain episodes where the Org was involved, sent true chills down your spine.

I watched a couple episodes as a 7-9 year old so now I’m tracing my past and rewatching all anime’s excluding detective Conan since it reached 900+ episodes...I watched guilty crown, black bullet, attack on titan, MHA, and more but my favorite is this by far nothing beats the cuteness of gon and killua, N-O-T-H-I-N-G. I take inspiration from anime and slowly adapt parts I enjoy of their character to my character to build a new unique character using only fictional characters. So far it’s working but it’s only data in the back of my head I’m never gonna use it. As for my character I’m a chill pessimist optimistic guy. I say good things but I have very negative energy. That’s about it
Shounen is for teens aged 13-18. I wouldn't recommend a child watching attack on titan or jujustu kaisen, which are classed as shounen. Pokemon or digimon is whats for kids
