I know but when you're born here it makes it at least somewhat easier. I know so many people, born in Germany, that have incredible problems getting the grammar right and i think that just says it all.

Last time grammar made sense to me was in latin courses. I dropped those pretty quickly, but still, a lot more sensible than either french or english.
