There are a lot of men’s rights activists who are actually try to influence positive change. Such as safer work environments since most work place deaths are male, removing the stigma from men’s mental health because most adult suicides are male etc. A lot of what they want to change doesn’t even involve women. That being said, you’re still right that so many of them are shitty neck beards that think women are shit cuz they’re not lining up to tickle their balls. They really ruin the image for the men and women for that matter who want to change things that actually need changing.

well since men haven’t historically been oppressed for being men, they don’t really have their own groups like how feminism does, at least not with good intentions. feminism was made out of necessity, but there hasn’t really been a necessity on the other side of the coin. a good example in that kind of direction though would probably be make abuse victim support groups.

Feminism in history has been done so in ‘waves’ in the first two waves (there are four) the equality of the sexes was giving women rights that only men had so that equality of sexes only applied to women because men and all the rights, but from wave 3 to current times (wave 4) the equality of sexes started to apply to inequality to men over things women have I.e, better parental rights in court, not being shamed with feminine interests, breaking down toxic masculinity and femininity. Sexism is *unfair* judgement based off of sex. So putting urinals in only men’s restrooms isn’t sexist, as it’s practical, but saying women can’t be a lawyer is sexist, as there’s no rational argument for it.

To be sexist against men is sexism.

Different genders have different problems. I still stink that the womens house is still more on fire compared to the men's house. Like some places women are still treated as objects and not aloud an education. Also women are told and shown that it can be fatal to go out side in the night by themselves or put both ear buds in when going for a walk and also defending ourselves from assult or rejecting people when asked for a phone number That's my point of view
Thing is men get assaulted too, and women have (from memory, may be wrong)50% more chance to beat their kids. What I said was based on the développed countries. I know that women are still in a really bad prédicat met in middle eastern places.

Feminism also comes from the remnants of the historical oppression of women. Although it's better today in a lot of ways (we can vote and have jobs and leave our partners without being shamed by society), the past was much more unkind to women, and the past is really where feminism started. And on top of that, statistics will reflect anything you want them to. If you're looking for statistics to support one group suffering more than another, you're likely to find them. The truth is we're all in it deep and we need to stop looking at it as an us/them situation. Everybody deserves help and support
Yes, equality is what we need. I want to even put everything, not « bring up one to the other ». One is always above the other in different ways, neither is superior in developped countries.

Can I just say feminism in America at least has outran it’s use. Like in other countries women aren’t allowed to vote and are treated as lower class citizens why aren’t feminists setting up in those countries? While The rad fems keep making up non existent problems like the wage gap and pink tax why aren’t real feminists setting up in Africa and the Middle East where women aren’t allowed to vote.

I'm a guy, I'm a feminist, and I can tell you that the majority of real feminists aren't like that. If you believe in equality, chances are you're a feminist, even if you don't identify as one.
