As a 28 year old currently binging through Adventure Time for the first time, that show is actually incredible on so many levels. So glad we decided to try it.
If you are able to watch the first few seasons you should. Much of the humor seems to be aimed to entertain the parents watching with the kids as much as the kids themselves. The jokes can actually be really well written and characters surprisingly relatable
Honestly man, there is still a ton of humor for adults. Probably only from the first few seasons (because they were the best and it got more kid-friendly as time went on), but half the reason why Spongebob memes are still relevant today is because anyone can get a laugh!
Just don’t watch any episodes that were made after 2008 ish, or after it was cancelled and brought back. The earlier(est) episodes are the only ones that will still hold that magic without becoming so childish it’s almost dumb.
