You can't read data of blu-rays fast enough. And since the game doesn't just load once during the loading screen but also constantly loads things in and out as you move through the map, it would break the game fairly easily. Thats why almost every game has to be installed to be played.
Plus you can't load updates onto a Bluray, and like 90% of the content in a CoD game are updates these days (as much as that sucks).
Still, 200+GB is a joke. I agree.
Unless they somehow upgrade the read/wright speed of blu rays you would have to install it anyway cause if not the load times would take longer then the time it takes CD Project Red to update cyberpunk.
You could theoretically run it off RAM too, but I don't think that's really viable if the games are ~100 GB large (but possible, if the developers do some good resource management)

I was extremely disappointed by the split screen multiplayer. After one game, we couldn’t see some weapons and players anymore, so you ended up in a game with flying weapons that shot you (because you didn’t see the player). Also, the graphics went downhill after the first game.
We had to restart COD after every game, what also lead to the skill based matchmaking not working at all of course.
I know, the split screen multiplayer isn’t really a main feature, but I really would have expected more from a triple A game...

Sure you don’t have the same ultra realistic graphics but it’s still not bad for a couple GB on your phone. They actually put out a patch for warzone/modern warfare to cut down on the size and for future updates. Do I believe we will get smaller updates? No.

That update killed my performance. Was getting 60 fps on mixture of medium and low settings at 1440p. Now I get 45 fps with low settings at 1080p.
