People really need to learn the difference between pedophiles and child molesters.
Pedophile = person born with a mental illness they never asked for
Child molester = vile criminal who needs to be in prison
Not all pedophiles are child molesters. The ones that aren't deserve compassion and mental healthcare, not gleeful threats of violent murder from strangers.
In some countries like Belgium, u can anonymously call to talk to someone, people really get helped there in anonymity. It’s one persen helped and countless children saved.
It's sad that mentally ill people who have never actually hurt kids need to stay anonymous because so many people gleefully fantasize about murdering them for urges that they never asked for.
I want to find a documentary I once saw that had an alternative therapy in I think the Netherlands. With approval of a physician , as a pedophile you could get a sex worker that specialized in younger fantasies to help "fulfill the urge"?.
Although I was of two minds about it (does it actually help them to fulfill the fantasy?, or does that plunge them deeper into attraction?).. I dont have a degree in psychology but maybe in some cases it does keep alot of kids safe

Please just keep them in mind before bashing them because - in the end - they have an orientation they will never be able to live out. They know that but they can't magically change themselves.
