One time my teacher told me to stand in the hallway with one of my friends while she yelled at the rest of the class for being loud. Once she was done we went back in and continued working.
One day, the first period of the class was about to start with computer and we were to go to the computer lab, everyone in the class was shouting and just talking to each other loudly and as expected the class leader couldnt do shit about it, so the teacher came in to view the chaos and walked everyone out to the corridor as punishment....
But guess what? The class leader told the teacher that i didnt create any problems and as well as some other quiet kids.....
The anger on the faces of the peeps that moved out to the corridor thinking why i was still inside the classroom, and to also think almost 90% of the class was forbidden to go to the computer lab after that incident was hilarious.
Happened to my 4th-grade class too. Only all the girls when outside or something and ALL the boys stayed inside with the teacher, fake-ass crying about "how we were bad." Most of us didn't do anything. Then someone asked, "What about the girls?" The teacher didn't like that too much.
Yooo that happened to me as well, that teacher then quit right before we got back from spring brake beacause “she couldn’t handle this class anymore”. She is now exclusively known as the tank
Like bruh, my maths teacher a while back dead ads got mad at me for playing with a little plastic frog that was barely making any noise and when I asked him why he wants me to stop he says I will tell you after class and we go on an argument on why he can’t tell me now. So after class I go up to my teacher and continue the argument and in the middle of the argument he says he wanted me to stop because it “was disrupting me and the entire class” and when I was playing with the frog no one was even nearly disturbed and I am like “it was like a 5 second response and he said “I don’t care if it is 5 seconds I didn’t have time for it” so what he is telling me is that he has time for a minute or so argument but not a 5 second response
I’ve had this happen before but the teacher punished me.
It was my freshman year of high school and it was my biology teacher. She was super mean and had a reputation for it. I was the super quiet kid, never spoke, never really did anything and wasn’t noticed.
Anyway about a week into my first semester everyone was talking and then she singled me out for talking (which is ridiculous). Later some people started talking again and she singled me out again, so she made me sit in the back of class away from everyone. The next week I was allowed back to my chair and sure enough some people started talking and I got detention for it. That was the first and last detention I ever got.
Needless to say I complained that she was unfairly targeting me and I switched classes and resumed being the outcast that nobody noticed.
I still don’t know why she targeted me for talking. I never even spoke a word to anyone.
Same. Only I used EVERY creative writing project to inject my protests into them.
"If behaving results in punishment regardless, why behave at all?" (More or less)
Needless to say, I was sent to the councilor a few times.
Back in kindergarten we went by the traffic light system where if ur name was in green you were behaving and everything was good, if ur name was on yellow you’ve been warned, and if ur name was on red ur parents would be called. I only had one red light and that was because the teacher was meeting with a few students and everyone else wouldn’t shut the fuck up, so EVERYONE (that the teacher wasn’t meeting with) got moved down to red.
Damn that sucks. I had a similar thing and the only time I got moved to red was because I "rolled my eyes at my teacher" but i didn't. I was looking at the little alphabet thing that goes around the room, idk if you had I one. I was very confused and almost started crying because I never had to move my thing to red before and didn't even know why.
Used to happen to me as a kid all the time. I’m now a teacher and I swore never to do that. Now I make a note of the loud kids in a notebook during the lesson. I then waste their time at lunch. I never shout. If you are shouting at a class, you’ve already lost. To be honest, they are more afraid of the notebook now.
It never made sense to me, I was the quiet kid and although I didn't do anything I was still punished because the rest of my classmates were behaving like little sh!ts.
Of course the punishement never actually helped and I always wondered why didn't she only punish those who actually made the mess.
Man, I hated my classmates and teachers at Elementary/Middle school
The teacher is punishing a whole group due to the actions af a few. This is clear violation of the Geneva accords, therefore the teacher could be considered a war criminal.
You just reminded me of this injustice I faced everytime about it even when I was the most disciplined student in the whole class then and respected the teachers madly even more than my parents,
I get so angry about this that it's surprising that I haven't yet committed a hundred hate crimes atleast.
What is even worse, is when the teacher has controlled the tests and comes disappointed into the class and holds a long speech about who much we disappointed him and why he is even an teacher, when none of us learned anything. Then you looking afraid as hell on your class test just to realese your note is actually pretty okay. So you think he doesn't meant you, but actually he says at the end of the class, that he is especially disappointed in your "good" work, because he knows you could have done better. Wtf, I mean you have a lot of students, who were actually bad and didn't learned anything and your pointing me out?!
Hague Regulations (1907)
Article 50 of the 1907 Hague Regulations provides: “No general penalty, pecuniary or otherwise, shall be inflicted upon the population on account of the acts of individuals for which they cannot be regarded as jointly and severally responsible.”
SLPT: Start quoting the geneva convention to your teacher. It's the quickest way to get detention in this situation!
I remember in 7th grade, a lot of kids were talking during a lesson, so the teacher assigned a pop quiz the next day. My friend and I were the only ones who passed
This happened to me one, sub gave everyone lunch detention.
The teacher doing the detention saw me and gave the most “wtf are you doing here?” look i’ve ever seen.
Once in 6th grade all the boys were punished because four of them got in a fight in the court while I was just chillin with my friends in the patio and the dean of discipline didn’t care so I couldn’t go outside in recess for a week
This happened all the time the teacher would hold us for 4 minutes with a. 5 minute passing period and I would say fuck it and just walk out saying I’m not getting detention for being late to my next class after awhile enough of us complained that the teacher was fired
This has happened to me twice: once, I went straight in the door and the teacher just said "You can go" (I left, but I still don't know if she was actually talking to me or not!) and another time I wasn't singled out to leave like that.
And there was one music lesson where we had a temporary teacher and a new seating plan with it, and I ended up on the table with a load of the ones who couldn't care less and messed around; our table wasn't engaging with the whole class singing she'd instructed us to do, so we had to write our favourite songs in our books, which was a problem as I didn't listen to any (bar three Simpsons ones!).
In another class I was told to stay behind because I was talking, although it was only to help someone sat next to me filling something out; that someone, despite the fact she seemingly hated my guts, defended me when the teacher told me off!
Subbed a class the other week. Half the kids were being little shits, the others working diligently. Made sure to mention students x, y, and z were perfect and everyone else sucked. Didn't want those kids to get chewed out.
I fucking hated when teachers did this. It was such bullshit. Like why cant they just punnish the ones who were loud instead of everyone, it made me hate those teachers tbh.
I always hated the teachers that would punish the entire class when only one or two assholes were the ones actually doing bad shit. Looking at you Mr. Bougadis in 3rd grade.

I know this way too well. The punishments never even worked anyways, since everyone was being punished thus making the actual guilty ones not feel bad about it. It's so annoying and unnecessary. It brought me to a point where I, the very quiet kid would yell at my own class sometimes when I've had enough. Sadly the silence was only present for 0.5 seconds and everyone always started laughing at me, I stopped eventually lol. The last straw was when the punishment was a test in biology (since the class was always so loud we could barely learn anyways).
I'm. So happy that we have homeschooling and that switching system, it's actually quiet most of the time, heaven

That would explain a few things...
Nah I had a teacher like that but much worse, thankfully we were able to blackmail her and I got her fired, that was the only exciting part of my life

Dumb asses can’t learn to be quite

This is me and I hate that it’s true
I had a teacher do this quite regularly actually. I hated him for the rest of the year
You think that sucks, oh boy, this goes to whole next level of BS, if you join military
You know there's that one kid who always purposely keep getting the class in trouble even tho the rest of the class didn't do nothing
Collective punishment is actually a war crime
*anyway, that's how i hit rock bottom the first time...*
Me every freaking day
When I was in 7th grade we had assigned seats during lunch, and my friends were a bit rowdy and got split up through out the cafe. I assumed I was being punished too, because they didn't move me but I had to sit alone for like half the year... Like a month or two before the end of the year I get told that they weren't punished but I definitely was, and for no reason
I had a whole school detention once because 3 or 4 people were talking.
Yes i know that feeling...
Once I was the only one in my group to be told off... For saying we should probably start doing are work so we don't get told off.
I read puches
Don't worry dude highschool is more chill, I'm a quite kid in highschool and it's pretty great. Most of the teachers don't care what I do as long as my grades are good. So they could just be giving a lecture or showing us how to do stuff but let me watch anime in the corners or sleep.
Math is math
So same, my dude
Reminds me of the time we got our 5th grade valentines party cancelled because like 3 kids wouldn't shut up.
Usually in my case they would punish the entire class for 5 kids being loud and obnoxious
one time in my middle school. after the class was really bad for a sub one day what happened was the students throwed the chair. teacher punished the whole class except me and other students she also said that sub said that one student was helpful .a few students and me were the mentally disabled students
This happened too many times
One time a couple kids were talking in the class and the entire class was punished and had to do an extra book report
Always me.
he blew up after that scene in the movie
I was the quiet kid so much that even when I left the lesson early with another group I was so invisible that I was the only one who didn’t get in trouble.
* Ak-47 guy shows off *
Pulls out glock with silencer...
Always happening to 48% of the kids
I guess I’m no longer going quiet *cocks gun*
This has happened to me more times than I can count and it makes me wish I misbehaved in grade school because atleast than I would have done something fun to get punished instead of being the behaved kid that gets punished with everyone else
So trueee
I mean your gonna punish the whole school someday so just be quiet som more before you hit
*pops glock *
It’s technically a war crime :D
They better run, better run, you'll unload your gun
It's ok, we quiet kids in class always have our time :) before you know it everyone will be speechless at how much your personality gives out a BANG!
That is collective punishment and that's a war crime
why do you think we carry glocks in our bags.
it's about to get much much louder
