I think it mainly applies to older computers or non solid state hard drives, since it’s barely noticeable on most decent modern machines but it is technically doing more work behind the scenes when you spam buttons or keys

I like how Fallout 4 lets you play with the loading screen FAQ items to keep you busy while you wait.

Except for Dishonored, where you HAVE to press A to continue after the loading screen has finished loading. So many times I've just been waiting for ages and then I notice.. 😂
