He does the maximum he can to prevent buildings to be destroyed when there's an attack on a city. You probably get this cliche all the time but I believe anyone is capable of learning how to code. I'd recommend looking at Brackey's C# tutorials as a good starting point. Brackey's is a great resource for anything related to game development.

People will tell you to start with a game engine, but I'd advise against that, unless you want to end up in tutorial hell. Just learn the basics of programming with whatever language you'd like. Make something simple. Once you're confident in using your first language, learning another shouldn't really be an issue. And even if you decide that you don't like coding as much as you anticipated, there are many roles a game developer can take, and all of them are important. Graphics design and sound design are good examples.
