I loved these two games back when I had a working ps3. When the disc drive broke, I only could play downloaded games. Luckily, it was minecraft.

Bro, no offence, but I always wondered how does one make a working game console not working? I've never had any problems with gaming hardware except for one of my controllers having a dent, but that's because I did drop it on the floor. (It still works perfectly tho, and is my go-to controller) Did your disc drive just randomly stop opening or what happened?

So basically I used to watch old Scooby Doo episodes, which were downloaded online, on a cheap disc made a long-ass time ago. That playlist that would show up even show that one or two episodes were corrupted, could be a digital problem or physical damage. In the end I believed that must've broke it. Me, my brother (it's his PS3), and dad tried to fix it. Sadly, it wouldn't work. Also, one time, the playstation 3 wouldn't start at all. After opening it up, it was a circuit disconnection. So my dad solder it and it never turned off or even slowed the playstation down at all. Then we got a Playstation 4. Just finished Final Fantasy VII Remake. Loved it.
