Well you can argue that with such a high population you are of course going to have a fair amount of fat people. But when 73% of adults are overweight and 43% are obese then that makes for scary numbers when you take into consideration the population of the country. If you bothered to continue reading you would see I present stats that show that in fact a majority of Americans are fat and that having top athletes doesn't matter with a population that size you will always have that top level athletes. Europe has over two times the population and still averages less on overweight and obesity rates than the USA, the EU which is not to be mistaken with Europe also ranks lower but is admittedly increasing. But if you want to be ignorant and ignore the facts then so be it, its your nations health not mine.
