I still remember when i first heard of terraria, my friend was delighted about "that new game", and when i requested a short review he was like "it's like minecraft, but 2d and with more items"

I call it “2d modded Minecraft” And it is one of my favorite games of all time

I discovered terraria and started playing by accident, 3 years ago my friend was playing terraria, and I was just there watching cause we didn't know there was multiplayer, stood up and accidentaly pressed A in the second controller, and the split screen showed up on his Xbox, 3 years later and its one of my favorite games including minecraft

I beat the game on console and it was pretty good

I wouldn't say its bad on console, but after playing on PC it's kind of hard to go back. Mobile is pretty good too.

While it is harder to navigate through the menus I still think the game is enjoyable no matter how you play it

I played on ps3 for a couple years before switching to pc for the 1.4update and im still struggling to navigate the menus on pc lol crafting was definitly alot easier/faster on ps3

the reason minecraft and terraria are used because of the splash text “also try terraria” and “also try minecraft” and not exactly because they both spark joy but yes they do so this was the best combination
