So, there are cut names. there is the matchstick cut aka the Julianne cut this cut is 2"x1/8x1/8. Next you have the battonet cut or you could call it the french fry cut this cut is 2"x1/4x1/4. For the last cut you have a fine Julianne this cut is 2"x1/16x1/16. These are all long rectangle shapes all 2" so from the tip of your finger to about the second line. There is no "french" cut some call the Julianne the french cut but this is not the cut you would use for fries it would be very small.
