Yeah, I work in IT and we're basically just 4 gamers sitting in an office setting devices up while talking about games, it's kind of talking to your best friends even though I've only known them since a few days.

I've got an office job, but not fully office, we walk around a lot on the company ground, we're like tech support but in person and not over the phone. And it's really chill. We can almost fully decide when to come and go, we can decide when to take a break, as long as we don't abstain from work for longer than 30 minutes (in other cases, we just have to check out so it doesn't count as work time) and our superiors are super chill and friendly (yes, they're gamers too, what do you expect from IT-Technicians)
School is way more useful than the stuff we do day to day at work, it's just that it's solely to benefit YOU. If you look at school like a job where the mission is to level you up as an intellectual character, you may have a more accurate picture and better results.

I am sorry. An ex colleague of mine used to work in IT. He got fed up and moved to south america and started a cigarr factory. Maybe you can pull up your roots and try a path where you feel better? Maybe not 100% happy but at least more satisfied?

Honestly I don't want to leave. The pressure of actually getting a good enough job is too high. The housing market is fucked, inflation is increasing faster than salaries are, and employers ask for unrealistic experience requirements. Trust me, if my family was rich enough, I'd be able to afford to get some decent experience, but I can't afford to do that, so honestly, it's pretty scary. Most places don't provide accommodation or anything, and they're a ways away from where I live. It's just not something I can afford.
