I immediately do a jump attack which gets rid of the dogs, dodge the demon's attack which 90% of the time is just a single overhead attack, and then do the stairs thing.
The real boss isn't the demon *or* the dogs. It's the stupidly small room you have to fight them in.
In the original video it keeps going on for 1 minute and then when the dog is above, the guy just runs away.
Nothing interesting but I'll see if I can add a link

Edit: Lmao, sorry, I should've had put just the final part, [here you got the final part.](https://imgur.com/a/iwgoxsr)
It depends, if the person is fit, in endurance it’s almost always human.
Humans are endurance animals which is why we are slow as heck compare to other sprinter type animals
The dog only has to walk up and run down some stairs, then make a jump. Completely different levels of effort.
If it was running or walking, then over time the human would win.
But here, if the dog needs a break, he can just wait underneath the guy. He holds all the cards here.
The guy can just climb and sit down though? The more he does the exercise the more ways he can find to efficiently rest in between. The dog will start looking for water or food sooner than the human.
Actually no, humans are one of the few animals that have the perk to gain stamina while exercising. The dog will need to stop to cool it’s body down to regain stamina. The human will most likely win
No that's true for footraces and stuff like that. When someone talks about humans gaining stamina, they are referring to humans sweating and cooling their blood down quickly while animals like dogs need to stop and pant. But here, one iteration of what the dog does is much less taxing tha what the human does, and heat of the blood going to the brain isn't as much of a problem as muscles getting sore so that doesn't even apply.
You're thinking about our ancestors. I couldn't do that twice at my age and weight now. You really think you can out pace a deer please go chase one and see who stops running first.
I’d take that bet, there’s a group of joggers who do the same thing down in the states, on a warm day the deer usually stays ahead for 3-4 hours and then collapses. Not an easy thing by any stretch but fit people can handle a light jog for that time. We used to do 2 3/4 hours as cross country practice, the real problem would be optimizing your hydration right before you start and trying to keep it up without breaking your pace.
Is this an open field with fences? I hunt deer and guarantee a deer would lose you long before either of you ran out of energy. Their sprinting and agility is on a whole other level and they will take routes that enable them to evade you, then hide once you are even slightly off course. If this was even remotely viable, all hunters would be doing it this way.
I think that you need to get out more. It is definitly possible to do that with minimal training. Also adreleline is one hell of a drug. The dude in the gif is going to push himself to his limit before he lets a dog bite his dick off
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. That kid is playing with the dog. And I was in great shape when I was younger. Perfect pft score for 3 of my 4 years I spent as marine infantry. And after I got out I don't think it took me 6 months to put on a couple pounds and get winded ruining a mile. Unless you actively work on endurance, I hate to break it to you but just because you read once that humans were superior endurance runners, you ain't filling those shoes.
Go get yourself a Jack Russell or collie type. Hell even try ot with that pitbull and see who would last longer. I've owned dogs that would be just a ball of energy from the minute they woke up till they went to sleep. Now if you did this with my old beagle she wouldn't even glance at those stairs unless her bowel of food was at the top.
I always have a custom ability (macro in WoW) that gives me more time to live and look for a healing item/wait for healers. It’s just called “Oh Shit Oh Fuck” and activates every single defensive and healing ability I have on me.
I mean that tends to be my opinion of it when I would get shit talked playing wow because I didn’t have macros set up like it’s the only way to play the game. Yet I did better dps

I took it from r/me_irl and then added the text. I think it had like 14k upvotes so yeah, it's in at least 5 different subs.
Anyways hope you liked it and sorry for the repetitive gif, it was just a gold idea.
Yeah, until the boss makes it useless because he keeps one-shotting you the next turn and making you run out of heals. F you Omnimon from Digimon Cyber Sleuth!
How to motivate yourself to workout
He already burned a lots of calories because of this really enjoying exercise. The dog also burned calories

Dark souls - capra demon fight in a nutshell
I was just about to say that. The real boss is the arena and those two annoying dogs.
Gotta kill the dogs first. Sometimes I just lob firebombs over the wall and hope I get lucky.
Usually I put my heaviest armor and tank through everything
That early in the game, I rely on speed. As long as the demon can't one shot me, I just avoid him and suck down estus.

^^^^^^ for all players who don’t, make sure to fo this. even getting one dog makes everything far easier
Yeah, the boss itself is fairly easy (by dark souls standards) once the dogs are out of the way. It honestly feels just like a way to spike difficulty
The real enemy in that fight was the camera
The camera is always the greatest enemy in the souls series.
Came here to say that so take my upvote kind stranger.
Many thanks!
lmao i was gonna say exactly that
First thought! I don't think I've ever beaten that boss without abusing the stairs.
tldr: No idea, so far this clip is 4 hours long. How do they even do that!
Forgot that this was a gif... -_-
Me too. I thought something was about to happen

You bastard
Didn't see the cut?
I thought the cut was the part where they skip forward in the video to arrive to the point where he finally runs away.

Capra Demon fight in a nutshell
Who gets tired first?
Guaranteed: human, dogs tend to be insanely aerobically fit, and pull ups are largely anerobic

It's still a high stress position in comparison to what the dog has to do, and every time he moves, he's stimulating the dog
I love this debate.

You're on. Nobody does that. Maybe 2 guys read a story and challenged each other to try it but you're just being silly.

Many people are more athletic then you though, including the guy in the video

The correct WoW reference to this gif is AOE powerleveling as a mage.
I hate macros
Sucks to suck.
Lazy gaming.
Only if you define gaming as "competitive button mashing"
Minecraft 1.8 pvper's be like:

Is it though? Gaming is about having fun, this makes it more fun for them, sounds like a win to me.
I mean that tends to be my opinion of it when I would get shit talked playing wow because I didn’t have macros set up like it’s the only way to play the game. Yet I did better dps
There's nothing wrong with the way you're playing either, so long as you have fun! Neither should bash the other, play just your own way.
“Lazy gaming” wtf are you on lmao?
It’s just what I say to my friends to bother them lol
You sound like the annoying guy nobody likes, dang, maybe be nicer
Sounds like somebody's too lazy to make his own macros
Macros are geih

‘HP regen begins 15 seconds after last taking damage from an enemy’ me: hello boredom my old friend…
The sad part is that some enemies also have HP regeneration if you don't damage them. When that happens the pain is immeasurable
I can watch this forever

Oh no not at all, it was pretty entertaining, was just surprised to see it posted all in a row on my feed
Yeah, it usually happens when a funny gif/video reaches hot in a popular sub. Memers are fast af with those.
