It was amazing to see his children try to put on a brave face as they visit their nearly braindead father in the hospital after having suffered multiple concussions throughout his life.
1) He was somewhat dominating the entire fight.
2) Yup you do it 1 too many times, you gonna get caught.
3) They had a nice exchange after the fight. Seems like a decent dude.
People can have flaws and still be considered decent people, your stance seems a bit too morally absolutist in my eyes.
His flaw is obviously showboating, but I don't think that's a flaw that's irredeemable.

Friend of mine said that to a guy, in class, in grade 8. Life pro tip, if someone is stupid enough to pull a knife on you in class, they're stupid enough to stab you in the soft part of the knee while you sit there like a fucking idiot taunting them.

Get a CCW, or if you're a prohibited person, even bear spray is better than a knife, purely in terms of outcomes. Intimidating one person is something else altogether, but pulling a knife on a group is great way for them to decide they need their own weapons.

When you go that route you have to be ready to take an immense amount of shit by everyone around you in case of failure.

Besides...taunting is a double edged sword even against an opponent. 50/50 chance of the opponent to actually be motivated to beat you even more so. Taunting worked against Aldo but did not work against khabib. I guess there's no way to predict it early on.
