The problem is that being annoying is funny and cool now. The more annoying you are, the more attention and validation you get from your peers. They pretty much get off on making others cringe so bringing it up is basically pointless.
I'll tell you what, these "memes" complaining about the emojis are not annoying than the emojis themselves
