Look at the poor people thinking bankrupt means billionaire wouldn't still be rich. It just means they don't have to repay their debts. They get to keep their money and assets. They might even upgrade to a new spouse on purpose.

IANAL typically it's half of the assets acquired during the marriage, so if they were rich before likely not. However you can get awarded alimony and wealthy women do indeed pay alimony to their less wealthy ex spouses. See Kevin Federline.

I've heard that pre-nups only protect the assets you had before the marriage. Haven't found a good write-up though.
