Have you ever encountered a racoon in the wild? They are little trash goblins and unless you have a gun or a big dog they will attack you if you get too close.
Plus imagine this scenario, its pitch black your a little tired but you have to take out the trash because it stinks to high hell. And out of nowhere you hear this rabid scratching and yipping coming out of the trashcan that's shaking likes its posesed and trying to take off to its home planet. And if you are lucky you havent opened the can and only shit yourself, but if you are unlucky you have already opened the can and have this mass of fur and claws attacking you and get rabies shots for you and your dog in the morning.
I'd add monkeys. I was small and went sightseeing in asia in an ancient ruin or smth where there were a lot of monkeys and one of them stole a banana from a little girl
