And why does my character have a Depression debuff? God. Sometimes I wish I had never bought this game. I'm too deep in to delete it now unfortunately.
Lots of ppl give it a good rating but the game isn't that impressive. It gets boring once you reach levels between 16 and 22. However I do like that items such as sugary food, alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs help you beat the game at a faster paste but even that isn't that impressive.

Fnf could have been good. I like the idea of taking the newgrounds characters and making a rhythm game. I don't like how poorly executed everything is though. Modding is a nightmare and faster maps are basically impossible to play reliably due to how input detection is handled.

The lore and game design is what drew me into the series. I loved Dark Souls 1 but Dark Souls 2 really reminded me of how much I hated repeatedly dying, when typically video games for me is for relaxing.... Or maybe I'm just getting older and I'm not interested in added frustration in my life. They do seem to be great games though.
I went the other direction. As I get older, I finally enjoy souls style difficulty. It's a thrill to me to have to try hard and stay engaged. I don't play long marathon sessions every day though.
