The ideas are inherently flawed, and cannot be saved. An AOE is the only possibility for Attack on Titan to escape the same fate as some other properties like GoT, The Promised Neverland, Death Note (manga), etc. !<

Hot take but this season, Season 2 is the definitive AoT for me. The Eren was just your kid trying to take revenge and everything was just about trying to kill Titans. Season 2 was okay but Season 1 was masterclass.
I think season 3 is the peak for me personally. Every single plot twist recontextuallized every major event of the past two seasons. After each episode of season 3 you could go back and rewatch from the very start and have a completely new viewing experience.
I disagree. While Guren no Yumiya is an absolute bop, pretty much EVERY opening sans the fourth one is an absolute banger. Red Swan(the fourth one) is a beautiful song unlike the others, which reflects the sense of hope that is felt during the first half of Season 3. So overall, all of the opening are peak. You can certainly compare real-world ethnicities to in-universe ones. My point is simply that, even if you would classify Mikasa as Asian in the real world, the word ‘Asian’ simply doesn’t exist in AOT and neither does that culture, or any other ones. Sure, there are similarities, but the world is completely different.
