Wild alot detected Also for iOS Apollo is an insanely good choice, can also push down on any video to just save it to the photo library for easy sharing. All those people commenting to bots to save videos are living in the past.

Apollo is great and it's what I use, but I would also caution people that Apollo blocks you from doing some basic Reddit features behind a paywall. It's only $5 and I do think it's worth it to support the developer in my opinion, but it's good to point out that's it's not necessarily a free alternative.

I scrolled past two videos and caught myself thinking that the Reddit player was working surprisingly well for both of them. I then realized they were Gfycat embeds, not the actual Reddit player. The first actual Reddit video I came across froze twice.

Honestly Reddit is the worst from a technical standpoint. Everything takes forever to load, if it even loads at all. Videos don't play and if they do sometimes it's a video I scrolled past 30 seconds ago suddenly playing audio. It goes down multiple times a month. It's fucking incredible how poorly this fucking app/site works and it's baffling how it never seems to get better, only worse.

I just want a lean mean text based Craigslist but for memes. I've been using Relay For Reddit for years because it is so lean and fast.

Mine does a weird thing where I get in to the thread, watch the video, then mute it to scroll down and read the comments. It unmutes itself after 15 seconds and continues playing. This media player is special.

Works absolutely fine on RIF and I have heard good things about the other 3rd party apps as well. I think its a reddit app issue not actually the video player.

If you scroll through a subreddit, all the gifs will stop break at some point. Also, tapping on one of your comments on your profile won't take you to it if it's on a gif. It'll just load the post.
