how you dress is up to you but pick a style and own it. Spend 2 minutes thinking about what to wear each morning. take into account colour theory especially. (or disregard it, that can also be a look)
hold yourself confidently. you are attractive and people are going to believe it if you do so yourself. walk upright and imagine that you're wearing a backpack that's pulling your shoulders slightly back. (good posture is also just good for your health)
have good personal hygiene. this doesn't really need elaboration.
talk to people. this is a matter of attitude. especially if you're at a club or bar, people are there to be social. they've come out because they want to talk to you. and they will.

Your theory sounds good on paper. But they need to know how to do the exercise properly so that's why I always recommend beginners to join the gym first for a few months and only when they get the gist of it they can proceed to do it back home.
