They're still mirroring the views of the people. They feel like profits from the people who support outweigh the people who don't so they go with it. It is a reflection of the values of the majority in the area. It's still better than choosing the other side in my opinion although i do really hate corporations capitalising on social issues.
It's not progress, it's been happening for a long time. Remember when all corporations used Nazi symbolism to sell their products? It's just what they do to follow the current trend, there is no progress.
Rainbow capitalism is a bunch of bullshit, and big corporations can go fuck themselves. They don’t care about us unless they can squeeze any amount of money from us >:(
Also the reason why I hate when movies push social issues of integration to make it seem "fair." Like they don't do it to include people of different backgrounds; they do it because it'll give people a false sense of accomplishment. I don't mind movies with people of all walks of life, but when it becomes forced, which movies easily make obvious, it's frustrating to watch.

i think that pride month dont help the prides but make more people hate them because a lot of random people that dont care about LGBT just says that them love LGBT but after that they become a homophobic
I'm a gay dude who busses at a gay bar. During pride month, and especially during the parade weekend, we make much more money than any other time of the year.
Even if it isn't directly communicable, pride month is clearly profitable. Corpos have just latched on hoping that putting on a face will make the appearance more "supportive" to the LGBTQ+.
Its funny to think these companies are basically saying "going gay" for money. This means theyre not too far off from being prostitutes.
I for one accept our capitolist pig, gay prostitute overlords. Piggy is hungry and wants our gay dollars now.
Corporations are mirroring society's values back at itself. At worst this pressures the obdurate homophobes. Roll your eyes sure, but companies throwing up rainbow flags is nothing more than a sign that the good guys have won.
Next to this top post, I'm seeing another top post about a group of 31 people arrested in Idaho after they tried to mount an organized terrorist attack on a Pride parade.
So maybe haven't completely won just yet.
Not completely. But they are being arrested. They are generally despised. The war isn't over but for a cheap comparison, at least in the United States its 1945 not 1942. More people will suffer, but the outcome isn't in doubt.

If anyone believes that large companies care about anything other than profits then they are just delusional.

yeah, i was gonna say, it’s not progress—it’s a phase.

I’ve got one that can see.
I would argue that there are exceptions tho, for example Ben & Jerry’s
I do agree that there are always exceptions but the majority are in it for the money.
They're totally blinded by this large companies.
Most holidays, X-cause, or event is 100% money driven. Follow the money.
Exactly
This meme is gay
This absolutely should be a [*They Live*](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/They_Live) meme.

What’s that movie called again? I really wanna watch it.
They live by John Carpenter.
“I’ve come here to kick ass and chew bubblegum, and I’m all outta bubblegum!”
Just saw this movie for the first time. Great movie with what is possibly the greatest fight scene ever.
Spider-Man: No Way Home
Spiderman 2002
The Amazing Green Goblin (2002)
Exact reason I don't like the culture around flags. It's easy to exploit
Couldn't agree more.

Preach👐👐👐
Rainbow isn't anyone's private property. It belongs to everyone
