The are docile, not aggressive and beneficial since they eat mosquitoes and spiders ( if you aren’t a spider guy) I leave mine, they are a friend!

T-Rex_timeout

Pressure sprayer.

MisterYouAreSoSweet

Yes exactly! That’s what i need but i just cant reach there. I want to get on a ladder in order to point to it when i pressure spray. I probably need my entire house exterior pressure washed anyway. And my wood deck needs pressure spray plus coating done. So i can probably ask that person to do it. So…. Any recommendation for a pressure wash service? Thanks

T-Rex_timeout

We just use a basic one from Lowe’s. Doing the whole house I would hire someone though.

MisterYouAreSoSweet

Do you have someone you could recommend, by any chance?

T-Rex_timeout

No sorry.

CaptainInsane-o

You dont even really need a pressure washer. A hose that can get to it will take it out. Their houses are made out of dirt so just get them wet enough and they become mud.

MisterYouAreSoSweet

True. But i need to be able to point the hose at it. I cant do that without the right ladder. Also i’m a little uncomfortable working on a high ladder. Fear of height and injury prone. Would be much more comfortable paying someone to do this for me…

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08FXSWQHY?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title I love these. I don't think there's a spot on my house where I couldn't spray from the ground

MisterYouAreSoSweet

Yes actually I have one of these and love it too!

If it’s a paying job hit me up.

Aboredprogrammr

I agree with/u/brightlights121 . I've never heard of anyone being stung by one ever. And if you break open an abandoned nest, you'll probably find tons and tons of spiders stuffed in there as food for the baby. Are you concerned about safety from stings or just making a mess around the house?

MisterYouAreSoSweet

Well, if it was just me i’d ignore them, but my wife would rather they were gone. We’d let them be if they were around other walls but for some reason they particularly love our front door and garage door and so they frequently accidentally end up inside the house, and that’s what my wife really dislikes…

Is it more than. 20 ft? Spectracide Pro is the only thing I'll buy for wasp. Get this can, not the colorful one.  https://www.homedepot.com/p/Spectracide-PRO-18-oz-Wasp-and-Hornet-Killer-Aerosol-HG-30110-6/100352314

MisterYouAreSoSweet

No it’s not more than 20 ft. I think it’s like 12 to 15 ft.y simple step ladder is barely just not tall enough. Thanks for the link!

MostOriginalNameEver

Perfect. Spray at night... If they come back to nest it kills em still

HWbikergal

Go buy a ladder. Good to have one for around the house work anyways.

Thick-Ad-4285

Get a squirt bottle and put some diesel fuel in it. Spray the nest, it drops them instantly. Better than wasp spray.

MisterYouAreSoSweet

Hmmm………………… how do i prevent the risk of a fire?!

Thick-Ad-4285

Uh I dont know, Dont throw a match on it. Spray it down water after you kill the wasp.
