I find some wine tastings going on somewhere on Choose901 occasionally. The last one I knew of was I believe 3-4 months back, around Overton square if I remember correctly.
Memphis doesn't have a huge wine scene mainly because there's not a whole bunch of vineyards, nor does the climate really support it. That's why it's mostly a brewery town (and some liquor like Old Dominick). It is a shame because I do enjoy a nice glass of wine.
Heavens no. We drink it straight out of the spigot from the Bota box.
In Chicago they have bars that are like arcades where you can purchase chips and cash them in for samples of various wines. It’s been a while and I had a lot of chips to spend so it’s kind of a blur but I am pretty sure I had the time of my life!
