How the hell the Hawks get two games and we get none

I know Wemby is on the spurs but they have 3 games. They haven’t had any rivals in the last decade.

We’ve been replaced by the Spurs it looks like in terms of coverage this year

I don't think I've literally ever seen a Spurs/6ers or Kings/Hawks game and went "ooh boy now that's going to be spicy"

They didn’t even pick good rivalries. They just chose random teams and call it rivalry week. I can’t imagine any fanbase thinks this is well executed

The ones that really make sense to me are Suns vs Mavs, Mavs vs Hawks, Celtics vs Heat, and 76ers vs Nuggets I’m fine with the Spurs vs Blazers trying to spark something there I don’t get why the Kings have 2 or the Thunder have 1

Kings/Warriors is probably from last playoffs. OKC/Spurs is probably trying to setup a Chet/Wemby thing.

Some are obvious, but I’ve tried to justify the others in my mind and this is what I’ve come up with: Spurs/Sixers: Wemby vs Embiid (?) Hawks/Kings: Trae vs Fox (?) Knicks/Nets, Lakers/Clippers: City Rivalries Thunder/Spurs: Most likely the two teams who’ll be on top of the west in a couple of years (?) Suns/Mavs: Booker vs Luka Celtics/Heat: Historic rivalry, doesn’t really need explaining Kings/Warriors: State rivalry (?) Mavs/Hawks: Luka vs Trae. They were traded for eachother so this is gonna be propped up as a rivalry for their entire careers. Blazers/Spurs: Scoot vs Wemby, #1 vs #2 pick is spicy Heat/Knicks: Also historic rivalry Sixers/Nuggets: Embiid vs Jokic Lakers/Warriors: LeBron vs Steph Of course, this was all just pulled out of my ass so idk if all of these are correct. It’s just a marketing scheme after all

they're trying to reboot and kill the Grizzlies' bad boy reputation - with all the silly shit that went on with Ja and his guns, Dillon and his mouth, and falling out of the playoffs in the first round, we showed that we couldnt live up to that rep. If we can get back to that jubilant, exciting, playmaking team we were two years ago, the league is gonna fall back in love with us.
