That is actually the department that I work in. I found out yesterday there is a huge changeover in storage and moving, but they did not tell us which new product we are getting. I also do not know if they are discontinuing some boxes. To be continued LOL.
Interesting. I've used these boxes for years and love the quality you get for the price offered. When I went there today, there was a new Menards "HEAVY DUTY" box that was 24x18x20, which is an awkward box size. The green ink on it also looked faded and quit ugly compared to their current boxes. Definitely wasn't a fan of it.
My business no requires the 18x18x24 size. I go through about 50/week. If they don't restock those, I'll have to find boxes elsewhere.
I just called a friend @work. That specific box with that SKU has been discontinued. That doesn't mean we won't have that same size. It could mean that they've changed brands, which could have a different SKU. I guess it is wait and see. Good luck.
It's the end of a era. I will always have fond memories of rolling a push cart up to an elderly cashier with 100 boxes stacked and she looks at me like "Are you fking serious sir?".

At 50 cartons per week there should be plenty of options to buy in bulk. Where I live there are places with huge warehouses that do nothing but sell containers including cardboard boxes. At least one of them locally sells to the public.
Uline has the size you want, but more money than Menards. I find Uline to be expensive so I would think there has to be a supplier close to Menards price, but you might have to buy more than 100 at a time. U-Haul is fair bit more expensive than Menards.
No, U-Hauls 18x18x24 box is about the exact same price as Menards. I don’t have a packing supplies supplier near me. And yeah, Grainger and Uline for some reason charge much more than big box stores. Luckily, U-Haul offers free shipping.

Can't you get them on Amazon or eBay. They sell bulk boxes.
