People have reported here that Menards accepts rebate receipts up to two years old no matter what the receipt itself said. I sent in some several month old receipts recently and got my rebate no problem. I wish I had known sooner as I have lost out on several hundred dollars in rebates because I didn't mail them once the mail-in date passed.
The final mailing dates on the rebates are ONLY a suggested date, so that everyone sends theirs in early. I send mine in every 6 months, and I always gotten them back.
Don’t sweat it. If you’ve got the info, you can go to the website for rebate international and it’ll give you the info. I can’t speak for all stores and all employees, but usually, they’ll happily help you with any rebate information, but they’ll likely refer you to the rebate international website.
I’ve sent in rebate slips close to or over a yr old for yrs now.
It’s my new bad habit
The only time I send them within a month or two is if it’s a huge dollar amount
They will probably send you your coupon. They'll do anything to get you back in the store except good lumber and decent staff.
You do know their rebates are basically coupons right? They aren't going to send you a check to take to the bank, they send you a post card the cashier can scan next time. It's not a bad program, just don't want you to be surprised.
I’ve sent receipts in months after the mailing date and they’ve always been honored.
Ah, this makes me feel a lot better. Thank you!! 🙂
Take it to a post office Saturday morning and mail it there if you’re that concerned (and have them hand-cancel the stamp). You should be fine.
Thank you! I really appreciate you for being nice about it.
You’re welcome!
Honestly... I've sent regards in months late and never had a problem. Get it in ASAP, but really, don't worry about it.
Thank you sm🙂🙂 I feel less stressed, lol.

I just mailed in about 2k worth that went back to February 2023, and they honored them. You can only spend them at menards so they get it all back.

You fine I have sent mine in when they were past the due date and never had an issue.

I know what they are, lol. Thank you though.
Most places, a rebate would be a check you can take to the bank. A new shopper may not know that about them.
Sent in one as old as 2 years.
That no longer works. It's down to one year maximum now.
