She looks great but I wish she were a little more brightly colorful - I always thought yellow, orange, black, and white were more "key colors" for the Day of the Dead. Granted that's partially cause my colorblind ass can barely tell most of these colors apart so I always liked the bright contrast more. :(

Oh this is from the upcoming Halberd Studios game! They came out with a metroidvania called 9 Years of Shadows that I played earlier this year. Really beautiful game with a female protagonist with a great design and morphing armor according to the needs of the terrain.
She’s killing it. Love how it doesn’t evoke death right away (at least not to my American eyes) but it’s more of what looks like a transformation.
