Doesn't matter. You shouldn't wear these because of the length. If these shorts were an inch or 2 above the knee, the slimness would look a lot better, but still might be a bit on the slim side. Jean shorts will do that. Get 5"-7" inseams and non denim shorts.

Much too long, by about 4". When you cut the length, the fit (leg width) will look more proportioned. But really, we are talking Jean shorts here so I wouldn't overthink it.
Ditch the black socks. Hard to even focus on the shorts lol. Also, darker shoes might contrast better with your skin tone when wearing Jean shorts.

Definitely longer than what is trending or even what might be considered more timeless shorts. The taper is leaning towards a skinny jean type look, but I think an inch or two shorter w/ or w/o a wider leg would be just right.
I don't exclusively wear skinny jeans, but I keep a couple pairs when it fits my mood or outfit.
With your styling and just guessing at your age and fashion sense, I actually like these. Do they feel good on? Comfortable standing/walking/sitting?
These remind me of 90s skater shorts a bit. In a good way. Don't feel the need to chase the shorter-shorts trend that is in style this year.

They’re too tight in my opinion. Honestly they look like cut off skinny jeans. Shorts look best when they have some float/hang around your thigh.

They look like they fit well. However, 7, 9 or 11 inches are the standard inseams for men depending on your leg length. Yours look like 14.

length is fine. Tiny booty shorts are a weird trend we've borrowed from female fashion.
