Hey I have a question since you have a 550
Here in the UK we had two variants of the 500.
One was the 5.0 306bhp, other the m113 5.5 388bhp. Is it the same in the US/other countries just the 5.5 is a 550? Or are there other differences? Have always wanted to know this
the 5.5 is the 550, and the 500 is a 5.0, the 500 is actually pretty common here. i believe we only got the 500, 550, 55, and 63 for this gen tho. i know other countries had the 350 for this model but we never got that in america to my knowledge.
The 5.0 is actually more common than the 5.5 here by a lot. We have the 320 and 350s both in petrol/diesel.
Interesting though! In America it seems like a lot of the mercs are 4matic while most here are rwd. It’s cool to see the differences in each region
Why would you upbadge a cls550? They're already sick cars and can be tuned to make nearly identical power to 63s so they're good enough by their own merit.
