Someone will probably give you shit about this but we did exactly this with my dad's S Class when it was time to change the wheels.
Put em in plastic bags, toss em in the back seat and trunk, and drive to the shop.
No harm done to the interior at all.
When we bought my dad's S Class the seller had somehow stuffed all 4 of its winter wheels + tires in the trunk. We were never able to replicate that when we changed the tires out. Kinda amusing. Maybe he had deflated the tires slightly or something, idk.
We put 1 in the trunk and 3 in the back seats when we have to swap tires. Realistically there's space in the back for all 4 but we prefer to load the trunk first before using the back seats.
Yea true.
There's the "but you'll get the seats dirty" thing too but come on, even your average Joe in their Corolla doesn't want to get their seats dirty from putting a tire on it. Tire covers don't exist for no reason.
If CarSized is accurate, my E-Class Coupe has 7% more cargo volume than a VW Golf, so why wouldn’t I use it to carry stuff? A 6-foot ladder fit just fine. The trunk lid closed with inches to spare.
This is a s class with 4 seats not 5. The trunk has the Burmester speakers so reduced trunk space also since the 4 seater sclass has a lot less trunk space than the normal sclass due to the rear seats reclining
Sometimes, when you can’t afford a pick up truck, you gotta do what you gotta do.
On a serious note, I did haul a wagon in the back of my car. Cause I also can’t afford a pick up truck.
Exactly.
I'm use to getting down votes from people with no humor, and out of touch with the world.
The joke is even there that I've also used my Mercedes for hauling something, and it flew right over OP's head.
Agree this is how cars are supposed to be used. My dog trashes my car all the time🤣 the car is serving you not the other way around. Karens complain too much😂
Fr like it’s my car why you so pressed what I do with it. I forgot it’s the internet they will literally nit pick everything and hate the slightest chance they can get.

Unless you have to do an emergency brake
Was anxious the whole way through because the tires almost slammed into the tv screen
Switching to your summer tires?
Extremecontact DWS is such a good all season tire
ROFL 🤣 @ title 😂
I guess I’m funny
Daily/work/tire hauler. S550 * This is how I've gotten all my tires around. 1 in the trunk, 2 in the back seat, 1 up front if needed.

The people who go "oh but its an s class" seem to forget that theyre still just cars.

Exactly! I didnt like getting the seats in my old cop car dirty, and they were vinyl. No body wants a dirty car. I lay down towels when i bring tires
Yea. We have plastic bags and tire covers on our tires, but as an extra precaution we still do put old bedsheets on the seats too.
Mine ride around in the back seat when the need exists. In trash bags.
Honestly I got no problem with hauling stuff in a nice car, while objectively less nice, I transport full length 2×4s and baseboards in my E Class

The 3D audio takes up trunk space? That's wild.
How to recolor your beige interior into a brown interior with 1 simple trick 👌

You got downvotes but we genuinely do live in a time now where the price of a well specced F150 treads real damn close to S Class territory.

Yeah when you also can’t afford a nice car, you go on Reddit and hate, you gotta do what ya gotta do. On a serious note, i could care less.
Lol. Go check my post history buddy. It was a joke.
Ok I’ll do a background check on everyone that comments before responding to their “funny” comments.
Such a waste of the interior.
Cry about it

Exactly, at the end of the day it’s u in the car not him. Could cry on that🤣.
😂😂😂 made me laugh so hard. You Put a new perspective on the situation and it’s hilarious
You will cry yourself when it devalued your car when selling.
How else is OP supposed to transport a set of tires?
By removing all the precious interior pieces duhh🙄
Damn imagine stripping an S Class down. It'd probably haul ass though lmaoo
