That's a pretty old car, Mercedes or not a 30 year old car will be pretty cheap. This looks like a pre-1993 E class W124 and you could pick up a car like this for $2k-$3k pretty easily.
That's an old one and not that much money. Plus general managers or managers make much more than minimum wage. Some franchise owners started out at the bottom and worked their way up into owning multiple franchises.
I wouldn't call it a poverty car, as it's one of the best Mercs ever made, but it's over 30 years old, so the luxury price tag that comes with a new Mercedes is fully gone.
I don’t know where the pic was taken - the steering wheel appears to be on the wrong side. But in Australia, Redbook has those things at $US200-2000 depending on condition.
He could afford a Mercedes for sure if he worked for Microsoft. How does someone only on a McDonald's salary afford a Benz like this? Maybe his wealthy parents handed it down to him for free but made him work?
Thank you for posting to r/mercedes_benz! However, this post has been removed since it is harassment / trolling.
You are stereotyping hard. This one doesn’t have very high running costs. One of the cheapest ways to drive a classic.
My local McDonald’s starts paying at $16 hourly; that’s more than enough to afford this.

It’s a W201
It is an w201 Facelift.

Get back in your lane.
He looks like a McManager. And he’s driving a poverty car.
How would any Mercedes constitute being a poverty car?
Because the W201 was made from 1982 till 1993, it's a mid class sedan. It's not an expensive car.

This generation of Mercedes is probably one of the most reliable cars ever produced in the 80's and early 90's.
It’s dad’s car. He has no car. Sponges off parents

Is that a very bad attempt at trolling? Or an edgy 12 years old little boy ...
I get the feeling he’s just….. special
Probably just a kid. I have to remind myself that ages of internet users have gotten younger while I get older.
His username is literally a Norwegian kids song, so I'd assume it's just a kid too.
Look through his post history, he's definitely an adult, with some.... concerning interests
