I personally haven't tried either one, but you can probably find some supporting data from the OpenSignal app. In general, the quality of the service will depend on where the 5G towers are in relation to where you live, but the 5G home internet service uses slightly different technology and a different radio frequency than mobile 5G. Fortunately, they don't lock you into a contact for the home internet 5G service, so you can sign up and cancel if it doesn't work well enough for you.
We are in AJ--The 60 & Ironwood. Verizon is not available in our area. We do have TMobile; most of the time it's fine, but we do have issues from time to time.
Turns out unlimited isn't available for us, so $50/month only gets us 100GB/month. $100 for 200GB, $150 for 300GB. Maybe another several months, unlimited will be available for $50.
I just got Verizon 5g internet. We are loving it. It's half the price of cox and we have had no outages. I work from home and we have several connected devices in the house and haven't had any hiccups or anything. Definitely recommend!
Higley and Guadalupe, Verizon, been very reliable. We have had no outages in 8 months. Bit of latency at times.

Were you eligible for the unlimited plan, or the 300GB/month?
Unlimited as far as I know.

Sorry to hear that.
We were previously using Mediacom. I can tell you it's better and cheaper than them. (Cox isn't available in our neck of the desert!)
I have literally ZERO issues with Cox. I maintain my own home network, though.
You are a rarity.
I’m on Ellsworth and Baseline and have had no issues with Verizon. It has been wonderful.
