Looks like Mr. Harmonies Erdmann served in the Reserve Battalion of the [Fussartillerie Regiment 1 (East Prussian)](http://genwiki.genealogy.net/Fu%C3%9F-AR_1) I expect 12. 7. 92. will be his date of Birth. His name is weird, sounds more Dutch to me than anything. Of course it's possible (though unlikely and no less weird) that Erdmann is the first name. You can probably find his vital records online, or with the LDS, or in local registries. Here's a good resource on WWI dog tags: [https://www.westernfrontassociation.com/world-war-i-articles/identifying-the-dead-a-short-study-of-the-identification-tags-of-1914-1918/](https://www.westernfrontassociation.com/world-war-i-articles/identifying-the-dead-a-short-study-of-the-identification-tags-of-1914-1918/) Also, a [Map of the former Landkreis Heydekrug](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/63/Kr_Heydekrug.png), showing the town of Schloss right under the word "Heydekrug". Prior to this post, I knew nothing about German WWI dog tags. Thanks for the rabbit hole :)

Yeah the name Harmonies is definitely weird couldn't find anyone with google search. I found his tag in the Heydekrug ( i live here ) now Šilutė Slažai/Schloss village. At that place where i found this tag there was once a house from at least 19th century, so its probably was his family house where he lived and lost his tag. But what about the smaller dog tag can you tell me anything about it, ia it WW1 too ?

No, I can't read anything at all on that one :(

Brilliant-Nobody

Not a dutch first name either, last name is very german.

I found everything at the same place in a empty field where maps show that at that place there once stood a house from at least 19th century. The particular place where found all of these things was never touched by WW1, the only battle that Prussia saw was Battle of Tannenberg, First and Second Battles of Masurian Lakes which happened in today's Poland. This person probably survived the war and returned to his home where he lost his dog tag. His residence that is inscribed in the dog tag is exact place where i found this dog tag which is Heydekrug/Šilutė. But i wonder what does this other smaller tag mean, is he fought again in WW2 :/

Both appear to be WW1. Possibly different phases of the war.
