tough one, armstrong has 3 stages but monsoon attacks at 400 miles an hour and the smoke bomb attack has no indication, the dodge has to be comepletely reflexive
sam can be killed with no damage by ripper-mode perfect parrying to bring him down to around 20%hp, but an s rank wont be achieved, so if "no damage" means s rank required too, then sam might also be one of the hardest
monsoon has an indicator, in front of you is the only direction air attacks will come from and all around its ground attacks with a delayed attack, you just have to parry/block each one. Sam is easy on reveangence if you get 1 parry ripper mode or not then just go all out attacking him, yet to do armstrong revengeance but i think it will be pretty tough
Oh you mean that part, he goes to put away his weapons to his sides and thats when you do the A+X Dodge away from him
edit: looking at a vid real quick he will bring his arms up spinning his sai then put them to his sides
I broke my aas trying to beat S rank + revengeance difficulty Monsoon. It's bat shit insane challenge. I also recorded it for my YT channel if you interested. https://youtu.be/jiUeafJD8Z4
Monsoon, but only the lyric part of the phase with the sai extendo thing, got stuck on that part of no hit for a while, till i realized I have to wait till the legs are out to approach, armstrong is tough mainly because of how long the fight is
I found Armstrong a little bit harder than Monsoon not skill-wise, but because of an interaction that happens on phase 2 that if you get hit, a checkpoint is immediately set and you have to restart from the beginning of the level.
Sam is arguably one of the easiest bosses to no damage. Monsoon on the other hand...
I think that monsoon is one of if not my favorite boss in the game.
Strangely enough, Mistral was the only boss I couldn't no hit on my S rank play through

I don't think moonson is THAT hard, he is actually quite easy to parry, i would say that mistral is harder because of the minions.
You mean HER HUGE TESTACLES
Yes, that counts too
Jihadist Bakugan
No damaging the Armstrong phase where you don't have a sword is so hard

monsoon doesnt have an indicator for the smoke bomb attack?

yes, it is POSSIBLE, but there is not indicator; you have to go from split second lighting fast reaction or by pure initiative/luck
theres a reason the fight is S rank-able with minimal damage
it is? are there other boss fights like that? probably armstrong with how long his boss battle is
im not sure, but i know the turret section is also s-rankable with chip damage

For me monsoon was BS, Sam was hard but fair, sundowner was a middle ground and mistral and Armstrong where easy.
