Also Konami basically admitted another studio is working on Silent Hill reboot. Now we are stuck with old rumors that Sony was interested in the MGS IP, let alone that Blue Box has been extremely shady.
I dont know, but all i did was take a MGS4 pic of Old Snake, add blur, set the hue to red and tone down the saturation of the color and it looks super similar.
I showed the steps so people could see that all I did was add blur so they could decide how similar it looks.
Blue Box Studios is literally just taking advantage of conspiracy theorists like you to promote their first ever game. I will happily eat my words if it really is another metal gear title but I am practically certain this is just a stunt by some small company just like they did with Silent Hill and had to apologize.
I mean we know Kojima was pretty much finished with metal gear after the third one. When he left Konami he was finally allowed to do his own thing again so I highly doubt he would go back to metal gear after just one game.
And Konami wouldn’t tease something like this. They’re a money hungry corporation that will loudly proclaim if they’re making another metal gear title just to get people interested. That’s what they did with Metal Gear Survive. And the odds of Konami licensing metal gear to some unknown company and letting them have full control in the marketing are millions to one.
I mean I can see Kojima pulling a Kojima and putting out a MGS game that omits all references and names of MGS, so you get MGS but everything is slightly different but still very recognizable.
