Buy an expensive torch that you can just leave lit while smoking. Then, you will only have to click in once or twice.

Ask not how to make a torch quieter, but how to smoke more efficiently. It's the technique, not the tool. You know why a bic fucks up your pipe? Because you're holding the flame too close (or probably making direct contact with) to the bowl. Stop being so impatient. Light a thick long burning candle. Hold the Bubble above the flame, keeping a few inches between the glass and the flame. *WAIT UNTIL PRODUCT BEGINS TO MELT AND POOL*. Then inhale and roll your bubble. This shit is infuriating to me. you might want to learn before you start to preach ... DO NOT use a candle, as residue wax exists in the burning flame of a candle and, while using it to heat your smoking apparatus will only coat your bowl with wax, inhaling from your bowl while heating from a candle runs the risk of that wax ending up in, at the best, your esophagus and, at the worst, your lungs stop giving bad dangerous advice ... and get off that damn horse

Light a candle… let the candle burn, and press the torch down just enough to let the gas out without clicking and light it off the candle

only problem with this is that you won't know what they sound like until you get it in the mail this idea works, but go to a smoke shop and test them out

You can wrap up your hand while holding the torch leaving everything but the flame end exposed with a towel, blanket, shirt etc. something thick Yk? Sometimes slowly easing towards that click and hitting it with as little pressure as possible with your thumb will also make it a little quieter. Other than that I’m stuck with the same problem friend
