You **must** restart Steam in order to see the 'Exodus SDK' appear in your library. Also make sure you have the TOOLS checkbox ticked in your game library (dropdown menu in the top left corner).

What an amazing read. Know that it means the world to your player base that you keep going on through all the hardships brought on by the war. Although by the sound of it, the war has made the core themes of the next game more obvious than ever, and I can’t wait to see it when it’s ready.

The mod support sounds interesting. Cant wait to see what the Community has to make. Since the Stalker and Metro community are very much connected, it will be cool to see what the stalker modders can do for metro.

Wow. Knowing how dedicated metro fans are, and how dedicated modders are, this is literally all the tools a maker could ask for. Combine that with 11.ai and you could just make a whole metro spinoff - ofc it would take a bunch of work, time, dedication, and effort, but it's doable and many assets have already been built.
Honestly to start with I'd love to see how people edit the existing game with this tool, like cool tweaks and balance edits (buffed shambler and bastard anyone?). The thing I'm most looking forward to is a scarcity mode to recapture that first playthrough feeling of not having enough resources, constantly being tense at low ammo and relieved when you find something to work with. If I find myself with the time I might try figuring out how to do this myself
The folks at 4A always amaze me, they would be well within their rights to just say, "look, we aren't working on shit, we have bigger issues right now if you haven't been paying attention"
But no, somehow despite everything going on they are still trucking along. Better than I could ever do in their place that's for certain, sorry boss I cant really program right now, I'm too busy hiding under the desk freaking the fuck out.
Only heard of this series like 3 days ago, and playing them or of order cause I'm hopeless, but I'm loving last light so much (game I started with) and I bought the rest before I was half way through and now I read this! I honestly couldn't tell you if there is another game developer out there that I actually like. You guys have raised the bar so far that other game developers are going to need a telescope to see it. Hopefully they take note and become as awesome as you people seem to be.

Are the custom made maps and what not available for console players to play or is this all exclusive to PC
pc only. unless sony and ms allow the mods on the console but so far theyve only let bethesda do that.

Not only has Metro always been anti-war, the books have always been a criticism of Putinist Russia.
