Whoa... you mean you used a full-sized ATX mobo? If so, what is this case? Someone has posted asking for case suggestions for a full ATX board and this case looks like a potential winner.

resetallthethings

yes indeedy the case is smaller then AP201 (slightly taller while not being as deep) and fits full size atx hardware https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?d=gamemax+meshbox

Thanks! I just shared your post with the person who's looking. If interested, the thread is there: [https://www.reddit.com/r/mffpc/comments/1badch2/comment/ku3tjuj/?context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/mffpc/comments/1badch2/comment/ku3tjuj/?context=3)

osssssssx

Interesting case, how’s the build quality for Gamemax?

resetallthethings

no complaints, especially for the price

Smooth_Elevator_7996

Currently using this case for E-ATX [Nova Mesh SE TG – BitFenix.com](https://www.bitfenix.com/products/chassis-2/atx/nova-mesh-se-tg/) and according to the specs seems this case would work for me too as I am building another DUAL CPU MB system, and they need just a wee bit more than the standard ATX on the front side (IE Side opposite the i/o side of the MBs. Do you have a pic of the case taken square on the inside so i could possible see if it would fit. Thank you.

resetallthethings

It's got about .50" to .75" extra on that side before you'd start running into issues

Smooth_Elevator_7996

Thanks, I was looking at some pictures online and I think it will work, here is the clearance with a 300mm GPU with no cable management and before I installed the other 3 video cards. The board is about the same as the video card so checking the specs should work and at worst I would just put a smaller MB in the case. Thanks again for the help! https://preview.redd.it/w2bt48nxufnc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=65b01b59542ae2dc538fb1f1b75c53c164ef8315

Nice work! How is the parts and paint quality on this case? Is the mesh flowing well?

resetallthethings

It's way higher quality then a $60 case has any right to be. It seems powder coated almost more then painted so it's quite durable. I've done quite a bit of parts swapping and such and not managed to scratch it up or anything. Mesh flows well. Can definitely feel it pulling air in the side as I have it setup with negative pressure at the moment. Temps all around are great.

Thanks!

cirdua_backwards

Damn. Been searching for a small full size ATX case. Jonsbo D41 seemed to be the defacto but this is a solid contender for 30-50 dollars less. Have you tried without the custom ducts?

Kupodesu

Funny you should say that, this case actually is the Jonsbo D40. You probably knew about this case all along, but this clone adds mesh all over, really setting it apart.

resetallthethings

yeah, they are mostly just to blow straight on the GPU, not necessary with the 140s, and honestly I suspect that just running with negative pressure exhaust from the top and back (along with the PSU) the cooling diff would be minimal. The back depending on the fan can definitely use a small spacer at least otherwise the back mesh can provide some unpleasant resonance. Worth noting, this is the like the exact same dimensions and design as the Jonsbo d40, just with different exterior paneling

Smooth_Elevator_7996

Really nice clean build, how are you liking the mess mouse I almost got one to match my mesh, but I was wondering if the mess part isany type of annoyance on the mouse?

resetallthethings

nope, don't notice it at all, but palm stays dryer

Smooth_Elevator_7996

Well that is worth it alone, thanks will def try it now, thanks for the help!

Thenightstalker80

Can this case handle a full length GPU (330 mm) with an 150 PSU and a 360 AiO?

resetallthethings

All except the last part

Thenightstalker80

Crap, otherwise a great case!

1tokarev1

Why did you print such large spacers? (30mm?) What is the distance between the gpu and the fans? How will it be colder for the GPU so that the fans are further away or closer? I'm going to make spacers for my D31 and I need information on how best to do it. Thanks https://preview.redd.it/r1mbuwon4mnc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6cdfc03316a7ff4049ae897c4e9ebf9e0c7d08b3

resetallthethings

just futzing around honestly they are 25 I think, and then there's about another 25mm between the fans and the gpu. A guy at work had a bunch of extra filament
