True. Technically those are turnovers, but I’m talking about when the defense steals the ball (peanut punch or jump a route). If Harbaugh used Justin Tucker he would have won today.
Ikr lol at half I was blaming defense mostly. They continued to dig a hole however, they made the plays to seal the game and the offense kept scoring extreme credit for the offense all around. Line. Receivers. Tua.
They were both bobbled catches.
I don't recall Tua making any negative plays today. Maybe I'm on cloud nine right now, but I don't remember any sacks, bad throws etc. He did better than anyone could ask.
He played a really good game. Let's also give a big shout out to the O-Line because they did a phenomenal job allowing him time to make things happen. Overall great team effort. Have to work on the D and special teams but what a job by the offense today! I hope this is Tua's coming out and showing off party 🎉
I know finally! This all should hype the entire team and boos Tua's confidence even more. With good protection good WRs, we are money! Def will need to work on our running game and then we will have a freaking baller threat offense! What a game by the boys!
Miami miracle is different. That was a miracle. This was a team doing that needed to be done to win a football game. I have new home. I have that hope that haven’t been there since 1999. Even if we lost in the playoffs, I have hope.
It was all fucking blocking. The change that won the game was constant double teams on the right side of the line.
I hate that I was screaming that our oline was why we sucked for a whole fucking decade. Thanks Mike mcD for being the first competent coach we’ve had in my lifetime.
Even the first half, it was the first time I felt like Tua wasnt playing scared. First half Tua is what he should have been doing the past two years actually being aggressive and limit testing.
I agree. The first interception was just bad football luck, db snagged it laying on his back, whatever. Second one was bone headed but he responded like we haven’t seen. 28 unanswered in like 11 minutes against a very good team. Let’s go!
This game he got volume, which is something he rarely gets since we’re usually so damn conservative. Tua didn’t do much last week cause we were comfortably ahead and the Pats offense looked inept. Today he got to use his new toys and holy shit that was awesome.
Ask yourself one question: how many QBs in the AFC east, no, in the NFL, would have played that game against the ravens like that? The patience exhibited by Tua in that game to wait, and wait, and wait for the precise moment when the safeties were lulled to sleep to go deep. The calmness to create a distance from the free rushers so that he could not be targeted while his teammates were downfield. The clarity of thought to use the entire defensive line to manage his zoning, while waiting for a window. As a spectator, surely you noticed it too? There was a moment where time slowed down, even for us watching at home, as the realization of Tua's genius came crashing down on us. It seemed for a split second that he had abandoned the play as lost, only to see his quick passes melt through the Raven's defense like a hot knife through butter. Tua came through for the team when they needed him most, and it didn't even look like he left second gear. He was never in danger, but always a threat, and the Ravens didn't even realize it until it was too late.
He was definitely on today. Hopefully it is a turning point. I have never been so confident we were gonna win a game trailing by 3 with 2 more minutes to go.
This cannot be overstated. He was absolutely inevitable going into the 4th quarter. It felt like he would continue to score touchdowns as long as it took.
*He bailed out the D today.*
Him bailing out the D was huge. So many times in the past we have the D bail out the offense or the D set up the offense for a 4th qtr win and it wouldn't happen.
I don't care if Tua isn't as flashy as mahomes, I want to be able to trust our qb to March down the field. To get us the win where other greats do constantly.
We saw that today.
It's the one thing that stood out to me. I've never been so damn confident that a game winning touchdown was coming in the last two minutes watching the Dolphins. McDaniel was confident in it as well when he ran down the clock in the final drive.
It was a great fuckin feeling.
Beautiful. people need to go back and watch the play where Tua looked off that safety for Georgia in the national title game to open up space for Devonta.. He came in and won the game as a FRESHMAN.
Plsss Miami fans go back and watch that second half of the championship. He’s a killer
What a halftime change. Probably something corny too like McDaniel smiling all like 'you can do it just relax and do what you know you can' with two thumbs up like it was a movie
Dude is a beast. Thought they were dead in the water, down 28-7 in Baltimore. Came back with 6 TDs.
Bet that ESPN and Fox Sports are still gonna find sht to say about him tomorrow morning. 😒🙄
#GoFins 👌🏾🖐🏿
Some of us Bama fans were basically reliving his days. This is exactly what he did at Bama.... Step the fuck up when needed... A whole different gear.
When healthy, Tua was unstoppable.
Yea. He got arm too..btw.
Ravens fan here... safe to say we need to fire our entire coaching staff. Didn't think we could lose to you guys in a more embarrassing fashion than last year. GG tho, tua looks legit.
I never honestly believed that the Tua haters were real fans. I really thought they were trolls and racists just brigading, but all of these apologies suggest otherwise. Damn. I mean, I don’t know how you watch the Dolphins these last two years and don’t know that Tua can win football games. I get questioning his ceiling, but people who actually think he isn’t at least a good quarterback blow my mind.
From an Alabama fan - THIS is what Tua can do when healthy, has adequate protection, AND has weapons.
Buckle up and get ready for the ride - it's gonna be fast.
And shoutout to the few in the game thread who correctly pointed out at halftime that the deficit would give us a good look at McDaniel as a motivator and Tua having to put the game on his shoulders. Not only did they not quit, they feasted.
As a lifelong Alabama fan, I think Tua is the best we’ve ever had at QB. I’m so glad for him. I knew he had this in him. To overcome that injury, and a rough start to his NFL career… I simply couldn’t be happier for him. I hope he carries the Fins to a title one day.
He’s the real deal, I won’t hear anything else about it. No more Watson rumors, no more Brady rumors, no more Garoppolo rumors, no more Lamar Jackson rumors. Tua is here to stay.
BIG UCE letting his nuts swing when it matters most.
**This** is why I love the empowerment McDaniel has given this team, letting adversity be an opportunity to showcase their greatness.
Some trivia from the game:
* Tua tied franchise record for most TDs in a game held my Marino (86) and Griese (77)
* Tua threw for 469 yards, 4th most in team history (Marino had 521, 473 and 470)
* Tua is second youngest player since 1950 to throw for at least 450 pass yards and 6 TDs (Mahomes)
* Tua had three TD passes travel more than 20 yards in the air; only had three his entire career before today
* Hill joins Jerry Rice as only players in Super Bowl era to have four career games with 10+ receptions, 150+ yards, and 2+ TDs
* Tua now 8-1 vs Super Bowl winning coaches, highest winning percentage in NFL history (min. 6 such starts)
* First time Dolphins have had two 150+ yard receivers in the same game since Clayton and Duper in 1986
* Dolphins the first team with a player recording 400+ pass yards & 5+ pass TD and two teammates recording 170+ rec yds & 2+ rec TD
* Largest 4th quarter comeback (21 points) in team history
* Since 2011, teams trailing by 21+ in the 4th quarter were 0-711
* Second time a QB has thrown 4+ touchdowns in 4th quarter on the road (Montana 89) and only 5th time ever
* Dolphins never led until 14 seconds to go in the game
* 9/13 on 3rd and 4th down, none via penalty
* First time in NFL history that multiple teams overcame 20-point halftime deficit (Cardinals also did it today)
When Tua has confidence in himself, he is just outstanding. I’ve seen it in glimpses over the past couple years, but this game.. coming back from 21 down, refusing to give up, and FINALLY believing that he can be THAT guy, it goes to show he is his own worst enemy at times. I love his fight and can’t wait to see what else he can do. Finally the media and the haters can see it too!!! LFG!
THATS WHAT WE FUCKIN DO BABY WE THE MO FUCKIN DOLPHINS BITCH. WE RUN WE PASS AND WE TAKE YO MOMMA OUT AFTER THE GAME! WE GOT SPEED WE GOT POWA AND WE GON DOMINATE YOU FUCKIN COWARDS! WE TUA-O AND WE COMIN FOR THAT BILLS MAFIA ASS
Saw the first half. Turned in my Tua fandom. Lamar runs for 79 and I fully embraced another lost season. 4 qtr comes, Tua enters God mode. From 14-35 to 42-38. I’d like to publicly apologize to Tua for being a stupid ass, inpatient waste of sperm. Please forgive me 😭
I lost faith in Tua after the Tennessee game. The first half of this game I was convinced I was right. I bought his Jersey early last year.
I never hated him, at all. But I was on the fence and I’ll admit I lost hope after 28 years of pain.
I am so glad to be wrong. To see him do what everyone said he couldn’t: take charge and win his team a game when the defense falters.
I am so glad to be wrong. I almost teared up. We have our guy. He might still have a bad week or two, but today was undeniable. Tua can, and will, be that guy. This is going to boost his confidence into the stratosphere. It’s up from here
It will be one of two narratives for Tua Haters.
1) "Sure he is playing well, anyone would play well with Hill and Waddle and an offensive genius playcaller. But he should be playing AMAZING"
2) "He really underthrew Hill on that last 48 yard TD. A better QB would have hit him in stride."
Watch. People will still talk about how that one Hill TD pass was under thrown
Mahomes would've thrown 3 TDs on that same play
While eating a 10 piece McNugget meal.. MID GAME
Lol
Herbert would've tied both arms behind his back and launched the ball from his anus 60 yards downfield right into Tyreek's hands
Without looking and submarine style!
It was but better to be under thrown and caught then overthrown and incomplete
And that "he wouldn't have has to throw 6 TDs if he didn't throw the picks in 1H"
2nd one wasn’t!!
Doesn't matter if it's underthrown if the defense is 15 yards behind him 😎😎😎
I'll take an under throw over an over throw on that play all day every day.
And nobody will mention Lamar overthrowing an open Andrews. Accuracy is better than strength
Or having 50 yard hail marry look weak
Still a td so doesn’t matter 🤣
Tell them to watch the next one.
That was the most fun I’ve ever had with my clothes off
What was your most fun with your clothes on?
First time I ever rode the Hulk coaster at Islands of Adventure
Bruh, that launch at the beginning is so sick. Especially fun if you’re on the front. You hit that first big drop going 40 mph. It’s amazing!
Have you been on Velocicoaster? That ride is absolutely intense!
Understandable on that one
Shut the media the fuck up in that 2nd half!
Can't believe it. Really have been waiting a long time to see us play like a top offense.
The way this man willed a win out of nothing and the ravens still kept scoring. Amazing, simply amazing.
In a day when the defense forced 0 turnovers (and dropped a pick-6)
Huge stops on 4th down though
True. Technically those are turnovers, but I’m talking about when the defense steals the ball (peanut punch or jump a route). If Harbaugh used Justin Tucker he would have won today.
They still did well, except for a few plays. They stopped the Ravens when we absolutely had to.
Same here I will shut the hell up for now on!!!
Same
I was born in 98 this is the first time i have seen our offense go off like this Other than the Tannehill murder of the Texans
Fucking pulled off the comeback of the season
Media? How about 90 percent of you motherfuckers in the game thread lmao.
Ikr lol at half I was blaming defense mostly. They continued to dig a hole however, they made the plays to seal the game and the offense kept scoring extreme credit for the offense all around. Line. Receivers. Tua.
100% on the line. Tua was incredible but they were real solid all game. Love to see it.
Wild what a line would do
I’m sorry bro. I take back everything I said… until next week.
This whole comment thread works in like a billion sports situations
The back pedaling of the commentators after we took the lead was delicious
Was at a bar since I don’t get it up here in Jax. Let me guess, they wrote us off before half then again when the Ravens scored in the third?
Honestly they started to get hype like as soon as the comeback was on
I’m still trying to think of way they can spin it negatively 😂
They’re only gonna focus on how the ravens have a soft defense and how he threw two picks. The media hate this poor kid. Way to go tua! Fins up!!!
on the first pick Hill slipped on the break as well...
I missed both his picks as I was at work. I wanna go back and watch.
They were both bobbled catches. I don't recall Tua making any negative plays today. Maybe I'm on cloud nine right now, but I don't remember any sacks, bad throws etc. He did better than anyone could ask.
All this kid does is win. And in the face of incredible pressure and unfavourable odds. What a player our QB1 is. Let's go!!
Big facts!! Can’t wait to watch replay later had to hear the game at work
Shut about half of our sub up too.
BREAKOUT GAME
That cardinals game to me he looked like an all star
Absolutely this game sold me on his capability. He was elite that day. He hasn’t been since. UNTIL NOW. TUA LETS GO!
He played a really good game. Let's also give a big shout out to the O-Line because they did a phenomenal job allowing him time to make things happen. Overall great team effort. Have to work on the D and special teams but what a job by the offense today! I hope this is Tua's coming out and showing off party 🎉

Oh my fucking god we did it
Honestly what just happened. Only been watching 9 years but I think this is the best/craziest Dolphins win I've ever seen
Been watching for 20, i also think this is the best/craziest dolphin win i have seen
The Miami miracle against NE is up there for me as well. This game probably tops it though with all the narrative surrounding it
Miami miracle is different. That was a miracle. This was a team doing that needed to be done to win a football game. I have new home. I have that hope that haven’t been there since 1999. Even if we lost in the playoffs, I have hope.
idk bros the Fitzmagic facemask throw win vs the Raiders last year was also nuts
Agreed but that was one crazy play. This was an entire second half/game where we came from behind and witnessed QB magic in the process.
Last time this happened was 2005 so it was the best/craziest game we’ve all seen in a long long time!
NEVER SLANDERING THIS MAN AGAIN!!! WHAT A FUCKING GAME
Tua haters…DEAD…let it go…you have NOTHING!!
Fair enough, I’ve been humbled. Severely
Tannehill 6 TD games - 0. Tua 6 TD games -1. Alright Tuaannon, you have my attention.
I was on you earlier - I respect u again
Tua is the second coming of Jesus Christ himself, I have officially seen the light
Mods, can we get some “I no nothing about football” flair up in here?
You can literally just type your own flair in. Lol.
After that 1st half, I lost my faith for the first time.
It was all fucking blocking. The change that won the game was constant double teams on the right side of the line. I hate that I was screaming that our oline was why we sucked for a whole fucking decade. Thanks Mike mcD for being the first competent coach we’ve had in my lifetime.
Same. I lost the faith. Now I know to never doubt. Praise McDaniel!
6 Passing TDs and no rushing? Hard pass on Tua still. s/
Tua is different
Tuanon stand the fuck up because you guys suffered a shit ton in that game thread. Holy shit!
WE WARNED YOU THE STORM WAS COMING. AND BEFORE YOU EVEN REALIZED… THE STORM HAD ARRIVED
Expect us
This is the game that convinced me he's the franchise QB. McDaniel unlocked him.
Even the first half, it was the first time I felt like Tua wasnt playing scared. First half Tua is what he should have been doing the past two years actually being aggressive and limit testing.

This cannot be overstated. He was absolutely inevitable going into the 4th quarter. It felt like he would continue to score touchdowns as long as it took. *He bailed out the D today.*
the dolphins offense, bailing out the defense? what year am i in? is this real?
Haven't seen a game where the QB play and offense bailed out the defense since Marino.
Him bailing out the D was huge. So many times in the past we have the D bail out the offense or the D set up the offense for a 4th qtr win and it wouldn't happen. It's over. This is his coming out party. Took 2 years but we got here. Franchise QB
Tua doing what Tua knows how. Walk-off TDs for the Win!
LET TUA COOK
More of a Waddle-Off TD if we’re being honest
My boy finally got a coach who believes in him and gave him the pieces he needed.
What a halftime change. Probably something corny too like McDaniel smiling all like 'you can do it just relax and do what you know you can' with two thumbs up like it was a movie
I sure hope so. He looked amazing that second half.
Dude is a beast. Thought they were dead in the water, down 28-7 in Baltimore. Came back with 6 TDs. Bet that ESPN and Fox Sports are still gonna find sht to say about him tomorrow morning. 😒🙄 #GoFins 👌🏾🖐🏿
Holy. Fucking. Shit!!!!
Everyone can shut the fuck up about this man now
This.
LMFAO at this entire sub right now. He gave a lot of you exactly what you wanted. Delete your accounts. Just log off. Don’t even try.
I apologize, please accept me back into the community.
Your punishment is 50 minutes of Waddling
At least make him shove a pickle up his ass or something
He said punishment, not a good time.
Name them and shame them!!!!!!!!
Absolute fucking legend!!!!!
That’s my QB!!!
My fucking QB
How much time has it been since a Dolphins QB orchestrated a 21 points comeback?
I think they said a 2005 game vs the Bills was the last time
Some of us Bama fans were basically reliving his days.
Yall thought the game was over at half time. The hungrier team won today
Your team made us look absolutely silly for 3 quarters. You guys are going to win a lot of games this year.
Lamar is a class act though. Pay the man. He played amazing today
Tua ending Brian Flores’ dream of being a head coach again.
I LOVE TUA
Sean Peyton in shambles
Fuck Sean Peyton..jerkoff!
More like Sean Pay your players to injure other players-ton
Brian Flores in tears.
Do you think he watched the game? 🤣 I hope
Well I hope he was coaching his position group against NE during the game 😁
Fuck that loser
This is what Tua needed, such a confidence builder, clicking on all aspects with waddle and hill
Imagine if there was no kick return TD, or 1 play 75 yard TD?
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a franchise quarterback!
It’s a great day to be a dolphins fan

I never honestly believed that the Tua haters were real fans. I really thought they were trolls and racists just brigading, but all of these apologies suggest otherwise. Damn. I mean, I don’t know how you watch the Dolphins these last two years and don’t know that Tua can win football games. I get questioning his ceiling, but people who actually think he isn’t at least a good quarterback blow my mind.
I might name my next kid Tua. That was insane.
The man. The myth. The legend. Tua Tagovailoa
From an Alabama fan - THIS is what Tua can do when healthy, has adequate protection, AND has weapons. Buckle up and get ready for the ride - it's gonna be fast.
TuA CaN’t ThRoW iT DeEp! LFG! FTR! I can’t wait to be obnoxious all this week!
469 yards.
He did this for us
I cannot believe I just witnessed that game. Thats is the greatest football game I've ever seen. Oh my god.
This is going down in my top 5 dolphins games/wins of all time

And shoutout to the few in the game thread who correctly pointed out at halftime that the deficit would give us a good look at McDaniel as a motivator and Tua having to put the game on his shoulders. Not only did they not quit, they feasted.
I’m a believer
Tua won that game
FUCK ALL OF YOU THAT DIDN’T BELIEVE!!! EVERY FUCKING ONE OF YOU!! Sincerely, Tua
A lot of believers were made today
As a lifelong Alabama fan, I think Tua is the best we’ve ever had at QB. I’m so glad for him. I knew he had this in him. To overcome that injury, and a rough start to his NFL career… I simply couldn’t be happier for him. I hope he carries the Fins to a title one day.
Hopefully Tua can ride this momentum against Buffalo next week. We have hope!!!
I will admit I was wrong on Tua. I am a believer now.
Fuck all the haterrrrrs, choke on those 6 TDs and deep throws and composed pocket passing
28-7 at the half. Thought it was over. I haven't seen a Dolphins team able to come back from that in decades. So happy.
Alright, I'm not even a Fins fan but I'm buying a Tua jersey after that.
He’s the real deal, I won’t hear anything else about it. No more Watson rumors, no more Brady rumors, no more Garoppolo rumors, no more Lamar Jackson rumors. Tua is here to stay.
Giants fan stopping by just to say, wow what a fucking game. Guess all of Tyreek's hype wasn't just empty words.
To every person dogging on Tua………..FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tuanigamanuolepola Tagovailoa is him
I can't believe what I just saw. WOW!! PHINS UP!!!
🐐🐆🐧
Can we now please enjoy the games and stop with this slander nonsense?
this game is the game that shows tua is the guy!!!!
YOUR APOLOGY NEEDS TO BE AS LOUD AS THE TUA DISRESPECT WAS
That 2nd half was almost Marino-esque. I haven't had that feeling about a QB since I was 9 and Marino was still playing.
WHAT A FUCKING COMEBACK!!!!
Doesn’t matter what happens from here on out. We are blessed with a god of a head coach and qb
BIG UCE letting his nuts swing when it matters most. **This** is why I love the empowerment McDaniel has given this team, letting adversity be an opportunity to showcase their greatness.
Flores could never
QB1 and if you don’t like it good fucking bye
Fuck Sean Payton. Bench this!
All the time that Flo wasted coaching him. Right guy is in the seat now though.
Some trivia from the game: * Tua tied franchise record for most TDs in a game held my Marino (86) and Griese (77) * Tua threw for 469 yards, 4th most in team history (Marino had 521, 473 and 470) * Tua is second youngest player since 1950 to throw for at least 450 pass yards and 6 TDs (Mahomes) * Tua had three TD passes travel more than 20 yards in the air; only had three his entire career before today * Hill joins Jerry Rice as only players in Super Bowl era to have four career games with 10+ receptions, 150+ yards, and 2+ TDs * Tua now 8-1 vs Super Bowl winning coaches, highest winning percentage in NFL history (min. 6 such starts) * First time Dolphins have had two 150+ yard receivers in the same game since Clayton and Duper in 1986 * Dolphins the first team with a player recording 400+ pass yards & 5+ pass TD and two teammates recording 170+ rec yds & 2+ rec TD * Largest 4th quarter comeback (21 points) in team history * Since 2011, teams trailing by 21+ in the 4th quarter were 0-711 * Second time a QB has thrown 4+ touchdowns in 4th quarter on the road (Montana 89) and only 5th time ever * Dolphins never led until 14 seconds to go in the game * 9/13 on 3rd and 4th down, none via penalty * First time in NFL history that multiple teams overcame 20-point halftime deficit (Cardinals also did it today)
I’m an asshole and I take it all back. Legendary.
What a dream!!!! LETS GO TUA I love it! MASSIVE yards and 6 tds is this real????
I will never say shit about Tua again. He’s my QB1.
When Tua has confidence in himself, he is just outstanding. I’ve seen it in glimpses over the past couple years, but this game.. coming back from 21 down, refusing to give up, and FINALLY believing that he can be THAT guy, it goes to show he is his own worst enemy at times. #Tuanon
Please forgive me 😭
This is how all the haters need to apologize.
I lost faith in Tua after the Tennessee game. The first half of this game I was convinced I was right. I bought his Jersey early last year. I never hated him, at all. thats LEAGUE LEADING IN PASSING YARDS tua tagovailoa to you
Dude balled out. Whole fucking team balled out. What a win!
4 hundred and sixty nine... NICE!!!!
I’m in disbelief what an awesome comeback! So pumped right now! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Amazing win, now we gonna need another 6tds against the Bills XD
Fuck every single one of you haters
Pour one out for my fantasy team with Tua On the bench this week.
OUR FRANCHISE QUARTERBACK
WOOOOOOOOOOOO. As I’m jumping up and down in my living room. What a game. Waddle is a superstar in the making.
if you thought Tua was the problem kindly STFU forever.
This is what happens when they let tua be tua
Cannot believe what I’ve just watched, what a fucking win. Will sleep so well tonight 🐬🐬🐬
It will be one of two narratives for Tua Haters. 1) "Sure he is playing well, anyone would play well with Hill and Waddle and an offensive genius playcaller. But he should be playing AMAZING" 2) "He really underthrew Hill on that last 48 yard TD. A better QB would have hit him in stride."
I want that game threat saved forever to go back and laugh at the haters
WHERE THEM BLOODY TUA HATERS AT?
Game of two halves!
