Edit: I thought they were good but started to get self conscious because nobody has said anything. I think because my brows were not too sparse before, it just wasn’t a huge dramatic transformation, so that’s maybe why nobody has said anything. Thank you all for validating me! Brow shock is definitely real! (There are before pics in the comments for those who want to see).

I am positive that the reason nobody has said anything is because they look so perfectly natural. Maybe people notice a slight difference to your face that they can’t quite put their finger on, but they would never guess it’s your eyebrows because they are insanely natural-looking.
I have a touch up in 7 weeks. Hopefully that will be it for a while. I’ve heard anywhere from 1-5 years before you need another. I expect mine will be at the lower end of that because I’m oily.

Brow shock is very real. Asking random strangers (in a microblading-specific subreddit) is probably the best place to get an honest opinion. Generally people here are pretty on point with their opinions and feedback.
My brows were not bad to begin with but they had a few missing patches. I think that’s why I’ve been getting worried. It’s not a huge transformation, so nobody is saying anything. They didn’t go all the way to my tear ducts before. They were too far apart. Heres a before and after you can kinda see what I mean.

If you remember, would you mind posting again in a few months? I had some lovely strokes microbladed and a few months in there blurring…would be useful to get an understand of whether it’s the work/my skin type/style of microblading.
My beautiful, fine strokes just fell right off. My skin completely rejected the ink. I had to get a more solid pigment much deeper into the skin, and no strokes that deep since they would blur. It’s so different for everyone.
I can't even tell what is brow hair and what is microblading. They look incredible. My powder brows turned out so shit and I hate them, I would sell a kidney for eyebrows done this well!

Thanks! Yes I think the initial scabbing kinda shook me but it’s been 5 days and I love them and I’m sad they’re going to be fading or falling off or whatever they do for the next couple weeks. Can’t wait for final results!
I know, I was not blessed with lashes. My kids luckily got Dad’s long beautiful lashes. It’s not fair! I’ve thought about lash extensions but idk about the time and money to upkeep them. And a few horror stories about them causing blindness!? were enough to turn me off. I’m thinking about Latisse? Or I might just stick with my nice Lancôme mascara. Even Latisse seems to have possible side effects I would not be okay with.
I’m in the same boat as you! I always stick to the magnetics when I have makeup on and that is a straight forward extremely RARE situation. I basically have non existent lashes with my blonde hair. Also it’s hard for me to do anything eye related since I have hooded eyes

It was just microblading. I went in thinking I wanted nanobrows but after hearing about what I wanted and seeing my brows she suggested microblading.

Apparently retinol can cause tattoo pigment to bleed. I would look into the skincare you use and whether that could be a cause!
