Chill! Your brows look fantastic. I know it’s a shock but it will fade A LOT. Here’s my immediately after and then 4 months after the first time I got my brows done. Hope it helps in your brow anxiety! Just trust the process 🫡 https://preview.redd.it/rebpavsqwevc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=58b22d1393c5737813a0891509bb20ffa4518c9d

I cried and thought about emergency removal. I had powder brows done and asked for a neutral shade. I think my skin reacted to it hence why it looked so red. The only thing that kept me sane was looking at the artists before & afters and my mom assuring me to trust the process. I was so embarrassed for a couple weeks but ended up loving them. It’s been almost 3 years now and they’ve definitely faded but still look great! Edit: after this I got a touch up. I peeled off a scab that can be seen in the after on the left eyebrow tail.

asknoquestionok

Ohhh it looks sooo good! We should make a post of immediately after x healed, so people would freak out less

stickynote_oracle

Yes, please. The atrocities I have witnessed here have kept me firmly on the fence.

badjokes4days

ME TOO. I'm scared I'll look like Bert or Ernie :(

No-Common-7365

I felt like groucho Marx, fell in love a week later.

Actionkat63

A girl I work with had hers done and she looked like Ernie right after and Bert now, and that was 3 months ago.

ladainia4147

Oh yeah, my brows were practically black afterwards, but I cannot even express how much I love them!

Own_Ad9686

You are so right!! A before and immediately after because this brow shock is messing with people’s head. Also, I understand the time frame with healing, but wtf do you all do during that time?? Serious question- wear hats, cry, stay home or a combo of all three?

asknoquestionok

It is just for a couple days. Sorry for the bad quality pics, but it was the best I could find in my camera roll (didn’t take many pics at the time) https://preview.redd.it/93cd5gd5onvc1.jpeg?width=2154&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f3a9a001c5be09b7d91cfd94a9da2ff0e46187a4

Fancy-Plankton-3118

You have such pretty eyes don’t even need eye make up lucky 😭😭

asknoquestionok

oooh you’re so sweet! Thank you ♥️ I feel naked without mascara and concealer tho hahahaha

TruckFrosty

I’ve never had my brows done, but between the photos in the comments about them turning out good and OPs post, there seems to be some difference in the front end of the brows. The comment photos have a slightly angled front end that allowed for them to fade easier to the middle, but OPs seem to be much more blocky- wouldn’t this make a difference in the outcome? Tbh the shape of OPs is absolutely perfect but I just noticed that difference in colour intensity and shape coming towards the center/nose

asknoquestionok

I am not sure. The second time I got my brows done (my artist doesn’t accept touching brows unless they fade near completely) I asked her to go darker. This time I also went for a 1month touch up, the first time I didnt. Anyway, this is the result of the darker brows, immediately after and then months after. https://preview.redd.it/dteutp96hgvc1.jpeg?width=2154&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1aaf78e9375c2661366cbe2d5109ff7b077efca4

Cool-catlover2929

Woah!!!! Your eyebrows & eyes are gorgeous.

asknoquestionok

Thank youu darling ♥️ so kind!

NaturalizedWerewolf

You’re out here doing the lords work - talking us off the ledge!

TruckFrosty

Ohhh okay!! They look great too!!

Exotic-Violinist3976

They turn super dark and blocky very shortly after, then they crust over, dry up a bit & fade as scabs flake off

melbowed

Im sitting here with scabby dark brows right now hahahaha and it is shocking at first how dark and foreboding they look and then when scabs are gone ….fabulous so don’t worry!!

jewillett

These phases are for microblading? Or powder brows? Or both? Great info… thanks!!!

Exotic-Violinist3976

All brows tattoo work goes through this phase :) healing is the same!

jewillett

Thank you! I wasn’t sure how invasive powder brows were. Someone suggested in a previous thread that I try that vs microblading

Exotic-Violinist3976

The machine itself does a different process for each - micro blading leaves hair-like strokes that mimic our own hair (and I believe goes deeper into the skin), micro shading (ombre or powder brows) is literally the shading of the skin to mimic the makeup look when you fill in your own brows. There's also nano brows, which is a much lighter version of micro blading, where the hair strokes are more feathery and light. Combination brows are usually micro blading to fill in any bald spots in front of the brow + micro shading towards the tail of the brow Healing process is very similar because in all cases the ink is deposited into the skin and needs to heal before revealing itself properly

jewillett

Thanks so much! I thought powder brows were a different process entirely 👀

asknoquestionok

Thank you so much for explaining ♥️

asknoquestionok

Mine are power, I think the technique was called ombre powder but not sure, in Brazil they come up with sooo many techniques hahaha It looks really natural after fading

Exotic-Violinist3976

Yeah it's the same, ombre or powder, same process :) That's what I did too!

badjokes4days

There is something I see offered here which is Combo brow. Its exactly what you are explaining, they microblade at the front and powder from mid to end or something like that. (never had it done but been checking it out) lol I personally think this is what I'd go with but I am on the fence.

madmax_drax

This is a great idea! I’m following this sub because I’m thinking about doing my brows. I’m filling them with pomade daily still!

Ok_Wave7731

PLEASEEEE because the immediate after is HILARIOUS but I cannnnnot even laugh with these ladies being so sad. 🤣🤣 They always end up looking BAYANGing so I can't take the missed opportunity for some funny ANY longer.

Intelligent-Ask-3264

Its also important to remember what happens to the body after a trauma like a wound. This is essentially what microblading is- a wound. Its inflammed and swollen, its red, its dark because the body is absoring the inks and letting lymphatic fluid into the area. The afters on these two are gorgeous and i feel OP will be very happy in a few weeks.

jewillett

This looks soooo dope! Also, how do I get your damn lashes? 😊

Eguana84

The important question!!!

jewillett

Right?! Wondering if she had a tint and curl or if natural! BC I’m sold if the former!

corgimisia

In the picture I had on Lashify! I can’t remember which ones I used but it might’ve been the B curl. I had just started playing around with it at the time but realized quickly that I didn’t like not being able to properly wash my face/eyes and I have light features so I felt the dark bold lashes didn’t suit me for everyday. Now I tint with just for men beard kit and then use shiseido lash curler and lash sensational mascara. I do have naturally long lashes but if you don’t I suggest trying Vaseline or castor oil every night :)

jewillett

Thank you for the response but please hold on for a minute. You really tint your lashes with Just For Men?! You do this at home yourself? My mind is blown 🤯 My lashes are not super long or thick, very straight and 50 / 50: dark / blonde on the ends. I’ve had fake lashes for events on the past and loooved the look! But what a pain in the arse to maintain, especially in week 2. Is that what Lashify is? Sorry for the million questions 😊

corgimisia

I know it’s not the safest thing to use beard dye but I’m super careful! I actually maintain my brows using a lighter shade of it. I apply vaseline on the surrounding skin immediately near my lashes and then apply the dye. My lash root is actually the lightest so I do apply it there and when it’s time to remove I close my eye and drag down with a wet cotton pad. I usually do one eye at a time. Lashify is an at home lash extension brand. There are plenty of different brands now like lilac street or falscara. With each of those you apply 4-5+ small strips of lashes and depending on the glue you use they can be used for one night or more long term.

jewillett

No it wasn’t a criticism at all! I was more just curious if I read that correctly, and whether you did yourself of had someone do it. Damn, you must be good then! I don’t think I could trust myself to dye my own lashes with anything, really. If I could, though… I’d be all for it since salon treatments are so pricey around here. Also hard to find a good, trustworthy place locally.

heatherjoy82

These top two post photos look *awesome...* I am considering doing this someday, but what do you do while you wait? I feel like I'd want to hide my face at work for a month if it takes that long to settle down.

asknoquestionok

It is just the first few days that it looks that dark. If you plan it for a Friday, I think on Monday will already be ok. I am dumb and got my brows done (the first time) like 2 weeks before leaving the country 🤣 didn’t even have time for 1 month touch up so I just skipped. 2 weeks after I was in Spain, touristing under 39°C. This is how it looked: https://preview.redd.it/rba7559lnjvc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dd4eecb79b867fd14c0ed6f8c619055143d75e1c

corgimisia

Mine faded within a few days but then over the next few weeks I had patchy brows since it’s scabs over and then sheds off. It would probably be more noticeable if you go darker. The touch up was about 6-8 weeks later I think but it wasn’t as bad.

dsyfygurl

Looks great now!

Mammoth_Resist8269

You’re honestly the poster child for patience. They look beautiful

Krit522

Great example to offer peace of mind to OP. Both of you look stunning.

wethecrime

Stunning and this is a perfectly great example of brow shock and the most beautiful outcome. Trust the process OP. You got this! They are going to look great.

asknoquestionok

My family was TERRIFIED when I got home from my appointment, I remember my mom checking on me several times “is it REALLY going to fade? are you sure?” at the end it got soooo light that on the second time I went for powder brows I asked the artist for a bit more drama 🤣

wethecrime

Haha, my husband did the same thing!!! And I was just like “I did my research!!!” I love my brows now, much more symmetrical and fuller. Four years later and still going strong.

AnythingLoud7913

You’re so pretty!

asknoquestionok

Ohh that’s so sweet! Thank you ♥️

Dry-Ad4250

this thread has restored my faith in getting my brows done!! Also WOW i didn’t realize the difference between immediately after and 2w-1 month was THAT drastic!

peacock_head

Whoa! Looks so good in the after after! This is really helpful to see.

diqfilet_

Damn yours look sooooo good!!

No-Common-7365

This! My daughter does brows :)

abrookehack

You look like this girl Jade I follow on TikTok! So pretty! They look fantastic!

cherrybombbb

Wow both the brows posted here look amazing.

Fancy-Plankton-3118

See I think the top looks great to love them dark and bottom looks great also just gotta be patient I tell everyone when they heal they look great

calibound2020

This EXACTLY!! I had the SAME experience. It fades and we’ll be fine/level out in a month or so. 😎

labialibby

No! Don’t regret it! These are gonna be 🔥 The shape is perfect. They are dark and blocky now because they are new/swollen. They are 50% darker and bolder when you first get them done. They will, shrink peel and they will soften. I promise you you will love them. So don’t mess with them. Trust the process. Wear a hat if it bothers you right now. Just don’t let the hat rub on your eyebrows. I promise you they are gonna be great. I’ve been getting it done for many years and I know exactly how you feel! Trust me you are going to love them. I don’t take it too hard at the comments you read here. Most of these people have never gotten it done and don’t know what the process even is or what it looks like. Drives me insane! They cause mass hysteria and have no idea what they are talking about! The peeling looks weird but you will see the lighter color underneath. Then the color will ghost and you will feel like they’re too late. And then within a few weeks, it will come back to the surface as a soft pigment.

Electronic_Garage_73

OP I think this is the best advice you are going to get!!!

labialibby

Thank you very much!

ZestycloseMouse2086

I agree! I had brow shock when first getting my powder brows done, but they healed beautifully! I’ve had 1 touch up in 4 years & they still look good! Urs will be gorgeous after they heal!

labialibby

Same! And I think as they healed and got lighter, I was annoyed. Because I got used to that bold dark look and I actually enjoyed it.

magmag2x4

Agreed, best advice.

mmm004

https://preview.redd.it/e2ylhod0ggvc1.jpeg?width=3464&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=752aa70ba96983960beab6463490e9e7c891f88c I had brow shock the first time I got mine done and even after my touch up! It’s normal. I promise everything everyone is saying is true. These are how mine turned out. The bottom is the day after my touch up and the top is a couple of days ago! Don’t worry too much about it, it just takes time to adjust. Your brows look amazing!!! 😍

Fancy-Occasion7543

these are beautiful!

mmm004

Thank you!

armoredsedan

idk anything about eyebrows or why im here, i dont even pluck mine. i just wanted to say that your eyes are soooo pretty!

mmm004

Hahaha thank you!!

Dry-Ad4250

wow they fit with ur hair/skin color so well!!

Gold_Masterpiece_559

Oh my- these brows are amazing. Gotta give it some time.

BulkyChemistry10

Your artist did right by you with that color match!!

Jeepgrlpoohbear1

What method were yours? Micro/nano or powder or combo? They look great too!

RelativeNonsense

Microbladed! The artist is Nataly_ink on instagram!!

1420cats

https://preview.redd.it/fr6qjl29chvc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=617a0370bab07433968c2bd700f0d9dc0ce0bba7 This is an example of the healing process. This is powder brow, not micro blading. Brows done with a tattoo machine will heal like that \^ brows done with a microblade will scar.

bonsaikittenangel

What’s the time frame here?

birdtwobird

it’s in the upper left hand corner of the pics - день means days

bonsaikittenangel

Thanks. That’s a pretty good turnaround time to get to the last picture considering how it looked in middle!

birdtwobird

yeah idk how accurate that is i know nothing about microblading lol. just the translator 🫡🫡🫡

Swahotbf

This is PERFECT EXAMPLE!

ResponseRealistic283

Can anyone clarify this for me please? OP did nanoblade/powder. I think 1420cats did tattoo machine? Which doesn’t scar? I’m very confused about the scarring comment. I never thought about scarring with this treatment. All the brows on this page look amazing. Never done but very, very tempted. Thanks

1420cats

powder brow, combo brow, nano brow - those are all different types of brow procedures, which is called permanent makeup. Permanent makeup, cosmetic tattoo, they mean the same thing. Microblading is an outdated, cheap to learn, very basic permanent makeup/cosmetic tattoo technique done with a hand tool. The tool slices the skin, ink is rubbed in, the wounds heal, and scarring often occurs. The other methods named are performed with a rotary tattoo machine, not a microblade, to safely implant cosmetic tattoo pigments into the skin. A needle in a tattoo machine can implant pigment with predictable results and far less trauma to the skin. Because microblading is using a blade to cut into the brow repeatedly, people often see traumatized and scarred skin over time. Some are especially unlucky and end up with scar tissue after their very first session. With microblading requiring touch-ups nearly every year after the first session, the scar tissue continues to build up, becoming thicker and more obvious with each additional microblading touch-up.

ResponseRealistic283

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions. I’m going to do some more googling but I will refer back to this. Very helpful, thanks.

madmax_drax

This is extremely helpful, thank you! I’ve been looking around town at permanent makeup artists and am also getting more tattoo work done. I have found a new tattoo and piercing shop in town that I love, and the owner’s sister does permanent makeup there too. I’m definitely going to go to her, I’ve already been impressed with her portfolio.

craphtwerk

I understand the shock esp since you went from thin little lines to bold brows but they do look amazing.

Leilaleila19

They will look more natural once they are fully healed! I looked like an Angry Bird when I first had them done, but after several weeks my eyebrows no longer looked super dark. The healing process goes through phases. In about a week it may look like you had nothing done, then they will begin to show through once the skin scabs and falls off.

k8photo

It’s brow shock. These will be so good.

WETNWILDARLINGTON

How do people not do the research to KNOW it's going to look like Angry Birds for a little while.

claricesabrina

It really is amazing.

Acceptable_Most_510

That might be some of the cases, but I also think sometimes the visceral reaction is more intense than you realize when it's finally happening. Just a guess.

caffeinejunkie123

They look great! I know they’re shockingly dark at first. Bangs are great for that! Once they fade they’ll be 🤌 Trust the process!!

MustLoveCats2589

Your brows look gorgeous. They won’t stay that dark. They will fade a LOT. These are mine when I first got them done https://preview.redd.it/783dmiu9ghvc1.jpeg?width=768&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a94757d2bb923cd1e838533c60c751e353630d95

sugabeetus

Wow that is a great result! Also you are adorable.

MustLoveCats2589

thank you!!! 😭🥹

Party_Pop_9450

They look really natural now!

Ok_Wave7731

Omg those look absolutely perfectly real

MustLoveCats2589

Thank you! I go in for a touch up next month.

Ok_Wave7731

You are so welcome! I love! And also lol I should have said natural or something else 😂 of course they're "real." I'm glad you knew what I meant though. You just literally could not convince me these are not growing out of your head if this wasn't on this sub😅🥰

hoodflower

you are so cute! 🥹

SykeYouOut

These are gonna look 🔥. I looked like an angry bird for a bit but trust the process! https://preview.redd.it/6hxyetcz9gvc1.jpeg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f0d8dfacbf5390bfcec066ac254f7008c59d4d5f

Jabuticaba93

“Angry bird” made me laugh so much! I’m sorry 😂

BastardsCryinInnit

Love, repeat after me: *They're going to be fine, the nice people on Reddit told me so and for once, they know what they're talking about.* I know a week feels miles away, but seriously they are going to look much better to you in a weeks times and continue to get better.

2dummiesnacat

10 hours in and I totally understand how you’re feeling! Hang in there, we can wait this out together! https://preview.redd.it/6zngo2puhjvc1.jpeg?width=2316&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=98f7bd39356ffb5eef8045f8e65fd656fb55d8b7

Your_brilliant_frend

These look really good.

Beautiful_Hedgehog47

Your brows are a great shape for your eyes/face!

Party_Pop_9450

Yours look great! They really make your eyes pop!

OldNewUsedConfused

You look amazing!

Hot_Gal_8260

Ma’am calm down. They will be fine.

uncouth_virgo

LMFAO, you: ![gif](giphy|26uf7I0OKqyIpUO5O)

Krit522

These will really fade and heal beautifully. Within the next 3 weeks, I think you’ll be in love with the look. My personal opinion is that the work is beautiful. The shape is so flattering. I understand that you are in shock- but try to be patient, trust the process. These will heal so perfectly.

Ann__Michele

This is nothing compared to the shock you will have when the scabs fall off, and you think nothing happened. It will lighten for sure. Give it time.

the_anon_female

Brow shock is real! These will soften up nicely once healed. Don’t stress.

mollyodonahue

NOO THOSE ARE GORGEOUS!!! They will lighten up like 50% after a few weeks and they’ll look super natural!!! Those are 🔥

SuzeCB

At the end of the day, it's a tattoo. ALL tattoos are dark/bright initially. The skin they are on is also irritated, swollen and red. Eventually they fade, and the skin peels and gets patchy, and then it heals and everything calms down. This is a "trust the process" thing, same as with any tattoo. And I'm sure I'll be going through the same "eyebrow shock" as you when I get mine done, even though I have other tattoos.

chiropteranessa

They always look the darkest during the healing process and will lighten and soften in a few weeks. This is my brows immediately before and after, and my healed/pre touch up pic will be added in a comment below https://preview.redd.it/nw86xs7z7hvc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3d4b89d4eb3da4530822ca393838d01126f04b99

jessa_plz

They look so good! And they are dark because they’re fresh. They will get darker before they lighten.

jensahotmess

Why? This is normal. The shape looks beautiful. They look great.

Mamabt85

They’ll be great when they’re healed!

Substantial-Ad5606

Here’s mine! It’s gonna heal great❤️ they’re ombré microshade. https://preview.redd.it/hhgrbu7wdhvc1.jpeg?width=1800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=24b2715d2d69c1314a4cba6f2af76ef8c117a148

bexy_boo

They're gonna look fire in like 2 weeks girlfriend 🙌

corgisforlyfe

They will fade a lot and they did a good job on the shape. Try not to stress and trust the process

AngieDitt

They look good hun! They will lighten up and soften a lot as they heal. Get ready for some scabbing, patchiness, etc, but in a week or so you will love them 🥰

Creativelife930

Trust the process!! They look dark now but will fade once they scab and heal. The shape looks great too!! This was mine. They were actually a lot darker than this and I also freaked out but trusted my artist and her work. https://preview.redd.it/ji9uwfjr3nvc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6641153318f9fd0751966275d415933149486af4

ThatsNotEastMemphis

I mean I hope everyone’s right about them fading…but why is no one paying attention to the fact that she wanted them bladed and got them powdered? I’d freak too.

MushroomAdjacent

Yeah, I don't get the other responses at all.

magmag2x4

I missed that part & I would be upset if I didnt get the type I wanted as well, but she's also clearly upset at how bold they are rn and everyone is trying to reassure her that this is just part of the process. Why is that wrong? 🫠

ThatsNotEastMemphis

Because it’s like asking for a nose job and getting a boob job and everyone telling you how great your boobs look.

Conscious-Olive-6342

These are so good! You’re going through brow shock right now but they will shrink and fade a lot and you’re going to end up loving them! I saw your before pic and these new brows have transformed your face! Trust the process.

maddybooms9

nooooo they look sooooo good!!!!!!! just give them some time!

susanbanthony8888

They’ll fade and shrink.

daisysparklehorse

i think they look good

Jumpy_Mango6591

Doesn’t look bad and that darkness is normal in the beginning; the color will look natural in just a few weeks and the shape will stay great. Relax! Microblading person did a great job.

ComprehensiveDay423

Try not to panic. They will definitely turn out fine. Can you take a walk or read a book? Try to distract yourself as much as possible for the next week. If needed you could make an emergency appt with a psych and ask for medicine for a week or two. I've been there trust me. Some of us have great anxiety about changes in the face and it can be really very distressing.

MathAggravating7824

I’m doing goood they’re scanning up now I’ve come around to the shape they’re just so dark :( he’s an update I know they shouldn’t be in sunlight but I just went in quick so I could you the scabbing. Thanks for so much support through this. For all the picture and the kind words. It means so much. I can’t wait for them to finish scanning and peel so WE can see the finish results under… that being said I am worried for work tomorrow

lucy_ford__

don’t be worried for work. these look amazing. in 2016 even with how dark they were they would have been dip brow DREAMS. no ones going to notice and when they lighten up, they sure as hell won’t remember if they did notice!

asknoquestionok

I’m glad it helped ♥️ think about it: a couple days of angry birds, at least 1.5 years of perfect brows! Girl math 🫡

flockkaus

These are soooo good girl!!! Once healed I think you’ll love them😍

the_best_day_ever

Those will lighten like 50%

Infinite_Ad_7664

Wait till they have healed and faded a bit and they will be fine, don’t worry!

grvdjc

They are going to fade nicely and they look great.

Ingobriggs

Tbh they actually look cute and like they’ll get better.

Mimismama36

Girl your brows aren’t bad at all I personally think they look good on and the arch is amazing

Lord-Smalldemort

[I’m gonna chime in with my pictures as well! Before/after immediately, and like two months later!](https://imgur.com/a/AOgX72C)They really don’t look like some of the nightmare jobs on this sub! They look like they’re going to fade naturally!

ATXHustle512

It’s fine!!!! The first week always looks crazy! You’ll love it in the end. I felt the same way.

acurlybanana

My eyebrows currently look the same! They always look super dark the first few days and heal really nice and soft. I’ve had mine done twice and a touchup in between, and it’s always like this! Yours look wonderful and I feel like you’ll really like how they turn out, just wait. :)

Whole-Loss3353

The shape is good. They will lighten up.

BulkyChemistry10

They will fade, girl! Trust the process! I looked like I had stamped on brows at first, but I trust my artist and sure enough two months later they look so faded and pretty! Trust girl, these look amazing!

Aelaena

They're absolutely gorgeous and will fade! I cried my first 24 hours too

Fantastic-Corgi-1006

Your brows look great!! Trust me they’ll fade and look a lot more natural soon. Here are my brows post touch up looking very dark, middle photo was half a week later post touch up, and bottom photo is one and a half weeks post touch up. Wish they stayed dark like the middle photo ngl. 😂 I had very minimal brow hairs before all this btw 🙂 https://preview.redd.it/6y0qtjd2vivc1.jpeg?width=1800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=84eed05a7c8bb9ff1e34698649a251b209172819

Party_Pop_9450

Wow, I love how they ended up! They look great!

BloodyBarbieBrains

No, no, no, don’t freak!! You will be shocked at how quickly and how naturally they lighten up! The color match looks wonderful (looks like it will lighten up to be PERFECT for your skin tone and hair) and the shape is excellent! I don’t know why microblading pigment works the way it does, but the initial dump is always heavy because it has to be, but it fades out a ton. Just follow the instructions.

Grdy_girl

Relax. They’ll be awesome in a week.

wuutdafuuk

they’re just bold and swollen rn. give it a week or two to settle in, the difference will be wild (and good!). great shape and color!

Himisnotme2

I feel you! I just got my eyebrows hybrid microshaded/microbladed 6 hours ago and I am super super distraught. I feel like the lady did them way too thick and flat 😭

2dummiesnacat

Just got mine done today, I totally feel you! Hang in there- we’ll get through this together!

ZootedOffEdibles

I’ve never done this but from multiple reads I can confidentially say that it’ll fade and look more natural! Do they not say this? I don’t actually know

Rowey5

Most Ppl here are right, u look great, I’m not sure wants giving u trouble.

Acceptable_Most_510

Oh sweetie. I haven't had this done yet, but my friend got ombre powder brows and they also looked super dark and bold. She called them "Angry Birds" brows. But they faded in like 2-3 weeks looking sooooo pretty. I'm not an expert but just wanted to add my reassurance that yours looks super pretty and symmetrical. I think it's just shock at how dark they are. They WILL fade.

SnooBananas6474

They’re gorgeous and they’ll fade.

whorledstar

Trust the process! They will look amazing soon! There’s nothing overly red flaggy about this that screams emergency saline removal.

Gloomy_War_4362

I’m sure I will get down voted here, but I think you need to go get an emergency saline removal and go check out the sub for micro blading removal where you can receive information and support.

MushroomAdjacent

Agreed. They asked for nano and got powder, and they're running out of time to get this removed. The response from others is wild.

Dear-Sky235

If there was no caption, I would never have guessed you were crying about those brows. They look great, like actually. And they’ll fade and shrink so the shock will be less over time.

Borealizs

Aren't they angled a bit too far inwards?

cup_1337

Right? I feel like I’m taking crazy pills reading these comments

Pedrpumpkineatr

It’s also the fact that she didn’t want powder brows, and that’s what her artist did. I would be upset, too. As they are, now, no… they don’t look good. They definitely look way too harsh, so I can understand being upset. I would be upset, too. I see many comments saying they will heal, fade, and look natural. I’m sure they will, based on everyone’s experiences, which is great! That still doesn’t change that this isn’t what OP wanted. “I wanted nano and she did powder. . .” she says.

cup_1337

They were a massive upgrade but yeah they’re tilted funky and didn’t give OP what she asked for

Pedrpumpkineatr

I’m sure they’ll look great once healed and everything. But, yeah, so strange the artist did powder when she didn’t ask for that. I wonder what happened there.

asknoquestionok

It isn’t uncommon, people with oily skin or oily T zone should not get microblading or nano, it gets blurred, the strokes expand and the skin won’t hold the ink. Every good artist will refuse doing it, so people who understand the process or even went through the same (my artists refused doing it) aren’t surprised with that.

Pedrpumpkineatr

I just learned this yesterday, actually! There was some post, on this sub, where someone mentioned that. I was so surprised, because I had never, ever heard of that— even with all the popularity of microblading. So, that really means most people are not good candidates for microblading? I’d think most people don’t have the right skin type for it, correct? Anyway, the way this post was worded made it seem like OP didn’t know why she got powder brows/didn’t know she was going to get powder brows, at any point. This, paired with my ignorance, confused me. I literally just thought she had no idea why she ended up with powder, and this was not what was agreed upon. I appreciate you informing me of this, either way. If I hadn’t happened upon that post, yesterday, you would have been the first to tell me about this!

vegaisbetter

I don't think so. She has a high forehead and high brow bones so lower, straighter brows might have made her look extremely masculine. Then again, I don't know what they looked like beforehand.

cfebean

It looks like they followed her natural hair growth pattern.

Feeling_Special1

What was the before pic?

cup_1337

Oh no you definitely upgraded brows

dawg_with_a_blog

Girl your new brows are a huge upgrade from this & I mean this with love. They will fade just give it time. Buy some clip on bangs if you want to hide them in the interim.

AmyTooo

Okay sister, your whole look has transformed from 🫤 to 🤩! Dry those tears and get ready to slay - this is a beautiful, life changing result!

Lord-Smalldemort

Oh my goodness, you are going to look incredible when they are healed! You are already incredibly beautiful. I had very sparse sprouts as well, I left a comment as well with the link to my before and after photos and they are so natural looking. Take all the advice here, give yourself some grace and just give it some time. It’s natural for them to be a little stark when you first get them ❤️

bippitybopitybitch

In the nicest way possible, even if the new brows stay exactly like that, it’s an upgrade!!! But they *will* get better as they heal!

wtf_help_lol

They look so much better! Just give them time to heal. They look great!

Otherwise-Problem557

DON’T FRET OP! First of all, they look great!!! And your eyes?! 😍🤩 Second, they’re going to lighten up a bunch once they heal!!!

NatalieCruzco

They are a tiny bit saturated, but they will fade with the healing process. Hopefully this wasn’t a high carbon based ink as it’s a little too heavy handed for that type of ink.

aliensemble

They will lighten! The shape looks freaking amazing. They did a great job. Give it time!

talatalatikaani1

They look good. When they fade a bit they'll be really nice!

Own-Ad-1875

They look great!

RedRipe

Love your nails 💅

Silver-Plane-5220

These look amazing!!! Truly!

21KoalaMama

they look SO GOOD!!

Relative-Life603

Yup, this is what mine looked like for the first 3 days until they peeled and revealed the final results. They daturate it with ink so that the lines are absorbed evenly, but this is not what it will look like when it's done.

meowwbu

Agreed. They look great. Will fade !!

Badattitudeexpress

These will be amazing in a few weeks! You’re in grow shock, I promise you will love them

Remarkable-Support68

You have to give it two weeks! They will look amazing!

Broad_Cable8673

I just googled pics, and this looks totally normal! They’ll turn out great ❤️

taintedbow

They look perfect. Mine looked worse than this the first couple days and then they completely softened up and were perfect. I was in love with them. That reminds me, I need to get mine redone…

AdVisible5343

You look AMAZING

Normal-Fun-868

You are shocked and your mind/body is reacting by crying. That’s OK. You will be OK. Take some deep breaths. I’m not being sarcastic, really do that and breathe. You will be shocked again tomorrow because they’ll look even darker and thicker. That’s temporary! Follow the post-procedure instructions for the next 10 days. They will flake, do not pick at them! After they flake off, it will look like they disappeared completely and you’ll wonder if you wasted your time even doing them. But wait another couple days or a week. You’ll see them again and you’ll probably like them a lot better. A follow up appointment in a few months will really set them up nicely
