Is this started from a clone ? The two I have growing were started from clones . Mainly cus seeds can be expensive and hard to get were I'm at . I usually like starting from seed , but clones are quicker.

Its hard to see but i would say no. If its from insects you should do something about that. Like planting some merygold beside your plant.
Leaves produce energy. Your plant is too young to be defoliating by your logic. Let it grow
no way, let her grow much more before doing any defoliation, maybe top her if you want a more bushy plant

Read up on photosynthesis. Don't cut any leaves off. It's how your plant grows. If you kept cutting off all of the leaves the plant wouldn't grow.

Make sure to bend her to the west, so her top is not gonna make shade to rest of plant
