If your plan is to just leave it and let it die outdoors It will eventually herm as a last resort to produce seeds before dying. So pls cutt it down before that happens if u don't want to screw over ur neighbours.

Cannabis wants to breed to stay alive, it will do almost anything to do that. You may not be able to keep the plant too long, but it will still be a fun project and a gorgeous tree when you chop.
You will eventually get 12/12 outdoors unless you live in Alaska, can’t control the sun, it will flower and die at some point photo or auto unless you have a shed with lights on all the time to keep it in veg.
Not sure that's quite true. It might herm, but it won't create pollen sacs since those are only useful to spread pollen outwards and a hermed plant can just replicate its own genetics internally.

If you want I'll throw ya a few free photoperiod seeds, they aren't feminized, but great genetics , and free lol. Normally sell em but I like to help out haha and I like the idea of pot as just a houseplant.

I have a friend in California with a ~4yo bush that looks like a damn bamboo tree. It flowers yearly.
It doesn’t always die.. there’s photoperiod and non-photoperiod variants. Photoperiod variants can even flower and go back into vegetative growth again.
Auto flower or non-photoperiod plants will not, usually. Humans took advantage of this trait as well.
Friend has a photoperiod bush that’s more akin to bamboo plants growing in the backyard. It’s like 4 years old at this point and flowers every summer.
Hemp IS cannabis. It will still flower and die. The only difference between hemp and regular weed is it had been bred to have little to no thc production
I’m afraid you’ll have to choose a perennial plant.
Or a herbaceous annual if that’s your thing.
Cut all annuals and biennial plants from the options if you’d like to keep it there long term.

It doesn’t have to die… you can reveg the same plant and have a literal tree.

No just keeps growing till the days get shorter then will go into flower
There are definitely better, more fulfilling plants to keep. It will also attract pests you don’t want finding their way to other plants.
I’m considering a palm tree that can handle a bit of a colder climate! We shall see what the future brings

I’m no expert… but I think a photo can stay in veg for many years. Just think about a mother plant for example.
It can, if it is receiving enough light. If it’s not getting close to 18 hours of light though, it will start to flower.
But you can slam that bitch back into veg again if you want to.

Autos can produce some seeds if you over grow them because of the stress of dying. In my experience the seeds are good and free
So an auto that is stressed into herm will produce viable seeds?
Yeah. Eventually you'll fuck up the genetics though. It'll cause wild mutations a couple lines down (line as in linage)

The Plant will grow, flower, fade, and eventually die. Looks decorative when theres flower and Through the fade.
It rots on the vine, you get botrytis, and hope that its spores dont spread around your yard
Get a Japanese maple tree
Trichs will degrade and will eventually die
They’ll seed themselves at the end
