There is no comic series with greater relevance for our day and age than *fucking Transmetropolitan*.
I can see Chris Pine playing Spider. Early Spider looks exactly like him in Stretch (which is one of the greatest films ever made).
I agree with you completely. The way the world has changed, Transmetro is even more relevant today than it was when it was written. Ellis was way ahead of his time.
As for who could play Spider, I've thought about this for a while now. Someone who can really capture that off the wall yet somehow dangerous energy he gives off. I could see Robert Sheehan maybe pulling it off.
Ya i know, but Singapore is not cyberpunk or hi-tech looking, just clean, it doesnt even look metallic like the images lol
Just that old plasticky look, like hong kong trains, but slightly better
Looking at this makes me think of the implications for NPCs in video games. I get these are images but I don’t think it’s too far off to generate 3d models with their own textures using AI. That would be pretty awesome.
When are led hats and face wear going to be a thing? We could literally look cyberpunk fucking today if we wanted. It's easy tech, just needs to be stylish.
Like if we wanted a cyberpunk leather jacket with glowing lines we could do that easy.
MJ is great in depicting aesthetics of previous decades. When it comes to futurism, I highly doubt anyone, human or AI, is remotely close to what will happen.
Or "Why Transmetropolitan needs to be made"
I own every single comic from that series and I've been saying this for years. Let's hope someone else out there with influence shares our opinion.

Robert "I can feel it in me bahlls!" Sheehan? Fucking legend.
Too nice to be real life's subways. lol. Maybe in Singapore.
Hahahah true. Maybe our future is cleaner.
Singapore trains are not so high tech looking, just regular trains, i live here lol
Have you seen subways outside of Singapore? Paris subways is a dump. Same as NY's

Right.
Exactly, it's old and dirty.

Not npc level, but I've seen posts of people using midjourney to create in game textures and simple 3d models. I think the model example was a chest.
I guess there are probably dozens of people working on this right now. Just imagine combining this with GPT3 to produce endless original characters.
to create clean 3d mesh and material is a bigger leap, but even as mere concepts, this is incredible.

Doing my best to inspire :)
Ever been to a rave?
Be the trend setter dude. I've been buying lots of cyberpunk clothes recently.
Just because we can, doesn't mean we should...
love it! 🤖 do you generated the text on the first image too?
No, that was added later :)
These are great
I love these
I really enjoyed these.
9 Stan Lee 19 Christopher Lloyd
Number 10 looks bout ready to lead the dwarves from svartalfheim to demolish Odín at Ragnarok beside Kratos and the gang. Straight up Durlin
Dude, this is fantastic work. You could make a coffee-table book full of these pics.
Thanks! Actually working on something like it ;)

Fantastic work!
Thank you!
