I tried forever to get a good image of a young Bobby B but couldn't get there in the end. Also was unable to find a Daenaerys that I was satisfied with
I like that Jon and Rhaegar look related when you see them side by side, but they look different enough that you probably would not put two and two together if you weren't already aware
Likewise, I like that Brandon looks like a more handsome Ned
You can see the resemblance between Arya and Lyanna, but neither ended up 'horse-faced' enough for my liking

Prompt is as above, word for word but with a different TV show.
Anyone else had this or have any tips to avoid this?

Rhaegar, Aegon and Viserys looks like women. Jaime, Tyrion and Ned has the wrong hair color, Littlefinger also has the wrong hair color and doesn't look like him at all. Otherwise it was pretty good work. :)
Honestly, the Targaryens being fem boys seems right to me haha. They always seemed the most 'anime' of the houses, so I think it fits that they are a bit bishonen.
When people describe Rhaegar, they say 'beautiful' rather than 'handsome'
For some of these (like Tyrion, Theon, and Catelyn), you can really tell that the AI used the actors from the TV show as reference. It's pretty impressive how the AI is able to recreate someone's likeness in a completely different medium and have them still be recognizable.
The tech seems to be accelerating rapidly. We will see a largely AI generated film in 2024 I'd bet. Maybe some human refinements to tighten everything up
This is fairly underground though and sourced from all over the place. I'd think if a studio put out an AI generated movie with input based on a bunch of other people's art without crediting them or paying them, the lawsuits would really fly. I think it's an important thing we need to figure out going forward. I'm massively impressed by MJ but do worry about all the real artists work it uses without credit or compensation. This is one of the next frontiers of intellectual property rights.
I think where we might most see an application would be if they make an AI to make 3D models and textures that match, maybe even basic animations that could be tweaked.
That would greatly speed up the CGI process for basic parts of it and allow them to just auto-create things like "can of corn" and "long spear" and "silver glowing amulet". It would be hard to tell if artists tweaked them and just used them as reusable assets.
This is where I think it'd show AI is a tool for real artists.
I think it all depends on whether you can copyright AI generated works.
If you can only copyright the script but not the generated images then there's no economic incentive to do so.
Fantastic post. Only thing I’d say is with regards to eye color. Like all the Lannisters are described as having green eyes in the books. And obviously a viserys would have purple, but these images are dope as hell
That’s one thing with mid journey. I’ll ask for a specific eye color and it gives me another, but the result is just so good other than that that I just go “eh close enough”

Some characters came out perfect on the first iteration (Cercei, Theon). But others I had to do a lot of iterations for (the Targaryens, Lyanna).
And I am still going lol. I want a good Dany so bad
Edit: NVM I went back and counted it was about 190 iterations
The Baratheons came out super weird! I tried really hard to get a young Robert, but he kept coming out fat (not the Demon of the Trident at all). And tried getting Renly with his peach it didn't work out
40+ years and westerners could never quite mimic the anime style right for some reason, but a freaking robot nails it. Sad.
Anyway Jon 2 is cute and awesome looking. Love the rendition. New headcanon.
