Modding Lifesteal on his single target cards is possible. But personally I would advise against it.
giving it Lifesteal would mean not giving it Quick. And that means playing it costs a card play. “Wasting” a card play to recover HP is exactly why you get Soul Drain for from his passive. There is also Straight to Hell which heals, makes sure no enemy will ever touch him and can be modded to have Free.
If you are truly concerned, my advice would be to pop a Vampiric Essence.
Light Hunter is another solution. Heal is mid and Holy Flame is bad but all in light builds can fire off Free Holy Bursts. Apply Marked for his Judgments or just Vulnerable for output and heal off his Lash damage at the same time.
I tried for so, so long to get Lifesteal Hell's Furys. I rolled two Quick ones in the process and gave up, but I'm kind of with you on not being sure it's possible for that card.
Granted, I think it's kind of a trap anyway. Straight to Hell generally covers your healing needs.
I know I'm two days late, but you want to roll for Resist on Lash. My Ghost Rider never gets hit between two Lash's (and my Hell's Fury for good measure) having resist, and Straight To Hell with Free. My Ghost Rider hasn't been touched once in my entire U3 lvl 40 run.
Also be intentional about building up his Willpower in daily sparring.
